All dishes were just delicious. No complaints at all.
Pretty authentic food with very large portions! It is a good idea to come in a group & share different dishes.
Personally, I love the grilled octopus & different types of clams with green chili salt dip. Their bún bò Hu? or ph? with beef rib is also amazing.
Loved everything about it! The dishes are colorful & fresh & the flavours well balanced. The staff were welcoming & friendly. Highly recommended !
Very delicious & elevated Vietnamese cuisine with great service & atmosphere. Our favourite dishes are the Imperial Rolls (which we've been told is made using a special wrap imported from Vietnam), the Mango Salad, the Papaya Salad, the Grilled Chicken & Shrimp Bún, the Mixed Grill Platter & the Ph? Vui Special. Very happy & proud to have another amazing Vietnamese restaurant in the Greater Montreal Area.
The food was fine, but had a disappointing experience due to the service. It took too long to receive my pho, & the wait between the three dishes we ordered was even longer. We finished each dish & had to wait a considerable amount of time for the next one to arrive, which really detracted from the experience.
The food was very tasty , & the prices were reasonable, though slightly high on some dishes. The service was good as well. It's a great option if you're looking for Vietnamese food while strolling around Dix 30.
Wow... I might visit MTL from TOR again just because of "Vui". My kids thumbs up 👍 for ALL the dishes we ordered. (still asking when we will revisit lol) Along with food, we were delighted impressed with everyone & their professional service here. Also, I am so happy to give a shot to Luc Lac Beef (1st attachment), which I tried for the 1st time based on their recommendation. How come I haven't tried it before!
I was in Brossard that day on a gloomy day, I was craving for a big bowl of vietnamese Pho. I searched for it & this place came out & caught my eyes with the good reviews & the interior ( I am a huge sucker for beautiful interior, makes me enjoy food better in a way) Yes indeed my pho noodle bowl was better than expected. the broth was made with love, plenty of meat, fresh vegetables. the spring rolls were so fresh, the crunchiness of the lettuces, the shrimp were juicy, the rice wrap was just right. the time we got there was around 5pm, it was pretty quiet at the beginning, then once we started eating it suddenly people started come in non stop. A little bummed out, because we ate so fast & was about to leave, but our waiter kept disapearing & we end up waiting for a good 15min to catch his eyes so we can have our bill. Anyhow definitely recommend, I will go back to try other dishes since they have a huge variety on their menu
A true gem to discover with family or friends! Every visit is a pleasure. The food is delicious, with generous portions that will satisfy all appetites. I was particularly impressed by the papaya salad, a delight that reminds me of my grandmother's recipes. The chicken wings, mini-crepes, & grilled squid are also to die for. The decor is elegant & the atmosphere is warm, perfect for a friendly get-together. I highly recommend sharing the dishes to discover as many flavors as possible. The passionate couple who also own PhoMC goes the extra mile to offer an authentic experience. & to top it all off, we tried all the cocktails on the menu, & they were all excellent! A must-visit on the South Shore!
first time at vui & it was a great experience! we were two people that came for lunch & ordered the iced coffee with taro & coconut ($8), as well as the grilled chicken, lemongrass + imperial roll dish (24), & the tofu & vegetables pho ($17). i highly recommend everything! the food & drink were delicious & the portions were generous. the ambiance was beautiful, i loved the display of hanging rice hats & the washrooms were clean. i took off one star because: - there was only 1 server taking orders & it was hard to receive service, with long waits in between - i had to get up to ask the dishwasher in the kitchen if we could have hoisin & sriracha sauce, which i was surprised about, as it didn't come with our pho & wasn't readily available on the table, & our server hadn't come by - the prices are high considering the cost of the dishes ordered in consideration of it being a vietnamese restaurant overall I'd return keeping in mind the service & cost of menu items.
Food is good but prices are on the more expensive side. Bun bo hue wasn't spicy at all but the crab meatballs were delicious. Mini seafood crêpes were okay, not my favorite. Service was good, they apologized for the timing of the dishes- my soup came before the drinks, entrée & my friend's dish which was indeed a bit odd. Felt like they are still adjusting so I'm sure it's gonna get better. Decor is very nice, cute spot for a date or dinner with friends &/or family.
Every dish we had was phenomenal!! Highly recommend ordering the chicken wings & the Bo luc lac. The pho with the beef bone was also very well executed but for the price, would prefer ordering the regular beef pho. The dishes are definitely a bit more pricey here but for the quality, I think it's worth it! The chicken wings were juicy, crispy & had a good balance of sweet & saltiness. The Bo Luc lac was so tasty as the beef was tender & you can really taste the smokiness from cooking it on high heat. The rice was also amazing as it had crispy little rice pieces which added such a nice texture. The service was also fast & thé resto was well decorated. Will for sure be coming back!
We ordered three different dishes & they were all delicious. The service was amazing & we waited less then 10 minutes for our meal after ordering. I strongly suggest this restaurant :)
Need to work on timing. The main dishes did not arrive at the table all at the same time. Probably a 15 min gap. Location is good but it will be more hectic once the T&T super market opens up. It's already packed on weekends alone, as it is. Price is a tad expensive given the location but still good.
I went there with my family for supper & we enjoyed everything. The food was delicious & the cocktails were good too. We tried many dishes, the street foods & sharing plate with rice paper. The Vietnamese garlic ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. My favorite drink was the Hennessey Taro Colada. The iced coffee with ube & coconut was amazing too! I loved the ambiance & the music. The staff was friendly, Sari was our waiter. He was attentive & took care of us when we needed something. I definitely recommend & we can't wait to go back!
Was here for lunch. Good food & service. Our waiter was great & we got all attention we need. They have a lot of options for alcohol as well as dishes come with it. Just wishing for that price, we should have had more bread for our dish. We had to order extra bread ( 4 slices = 3$) (we're Asian). Will be back to try another dishes.
Highly recommended! Vui Cuisine & Bar is a new fantastic spot for a delightful dining experience in town. The Assiette Vui offers a great variety of rolls, grilled meat & pork sausage that are both tasty & aesthetically presented. Bo Luc Lac features tender beef stir-fried with fresh vegetables, paired perfectly with rice or fries. I would rate it 11/10. The unique dish for me was the Canh Chua (Tom yum as they call it), a tangy & aromatic sour Vietnames soup that was incredibly refreshing. It reminisces me the authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine. With its uniqe decor & friendly staff, Vui Cuisine & Bar is a must-visit for the Asian cuisine. I will definitely come back to eat all the dishes & recommend Vui to all my friends.
