Review Summary

URBANISTA BAR is described as eclectic and cozy, with warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a friendly staff that make the place feel welcoming for groups. Drink quality is mixed, with some praising good prices and deals on cocktails and others noting inconsistent execution and odd experiences such as a supposed mezcal that exists only in fiction, a drink that tastes like watered Campari, and a lipstick on the glass. The atmosphere swings between relaxed and intimate to buzzy, and the decor is repeatedly called stylish and quirky. Food is mentioned as simple and inexpensive, with generous portions of items like grilled cheese or pizza, fitting the bargain vibe. Overall the reviews show a place that offers value and charm but with variability in drinks and service that can make for either a standout night or a quirky cautionary tale.

'A Mezcal Mirage & Lipstick Surprise'

Walked into this bar dreaming of smoky mezcal bliss, only to discover the mezcal on the menu was apparently a fictional character. Bold move, advertising spirits that don't exist.

Friend #1 ordered a Negroni that tasted like someone had whispered'Campari' over a glass of tap water. Friend #2 got a cocktail garnished with… lipstick. Not on the rim, not in the garnish… on the glass itself. Nothing says'classy night out' like sharing DNA with strangers.

The music? Fine. Not offensive, not inspiring. Just the kind of background noise you'd expect while questioning your life choices.

If you're into imaginary mezcal, mystery cosmetics, & cocktails that double as cautionary tales, this is your spot. Otherwise, maybe stick to drinking at home - at least there, the lipstick is yours.

We stumbled upon this bar on a walk through Saint Laurent & found such a warm, cozy ambience. The lighting is beautiful, the seating comfortable, & the service very friendly. The drinks were good, but none of their cocktails wowed me. We came in for the 5 à 9 discount on cocktails. We had six drinks for the price of three, which is a great deal. This place wasn't very crowded, so the atmosphere was more chill than the bars surrounding it on the same street. Come here with a group of friends to enjoy good prices on drinks, comfy tables, chess boards, & a cozy setting.

Great for cocktails when they are 2/1 & the food is really basic (pretty much basic grilled cheese or pizza) but it's really cheap so it's acceptable for the price
