We tried the matcha, original, & chocolate cheesecakes from Uncle Tetsu & honestly, each one had its own kind of deliciousness 🍰
The texture is so light, fresh, & soft, & you can really taste the quality in every flavor. The original is classic & comforting, the matcha has a perfect balanced flavor, & the chocolate one is rich without being too heavy 🍵🍫
Definitely worth trying if you love fresh & fluffy Japanese-style cheesecakes 💛
Their locations are consistent in quality across the country. I first tried Uncle Tetsu in Toronto & am glad I have a location near me in my new city. The Japanese Cheesecake standard.
I recently picked up a Japanese cheesecake from this bakery for a New Year's celebration, & it was an absolute hit. We decided to take a chance & make it our'first-time' New Year's cake, & it couldn't have been a better choice. The texture was unbelievably light & fluffy, the flavor perfectly balanced, & every bite felt special.
Our guests loved it, & it truly added something memorable to the celebration. Thank you for crafting such a delicious dessert, it definitely didn't disappoint & has earned a spot in our future celebrations.
Japanese cheesecakes at Uncle Tetsu are fluffy, not too sweet & delicious! The person who greets you at the register is always smiling, she's extremely nice & polite. I bring the cheesecakes to family gathering & everyone loves them. Also, fyi, there's a sign inside that says the cakes are nut free.
I love japan because of that cheesecake, it's not the same one you eat in Japan but is almost the same, sorry for the half cake family couldn't wait for me to take a picture they open it & cut it fast, however it's so light & fluffy
You don't feel the sugar at all & I'm not sure if there's any sugar in it , maybe is good for who crave sugar but they are diabetic I said maybe cause you must be sure the amount of sugar in it before you try in case you are diabetic, the muffin are amazing the service everything is nice oh my lord how much I love Japan , I always want to try the Japanese cheesecake on that location but every time I go a huge line waiting to buy so I leave but those time was early & no one so vroom vroom run inside grab a cake & six muffin , the time i got home was three muffin left & half cake gone,
You cannot say you visited Montreal if you haven't sneaked a taste of their Japanese cheesecake!
Here's the corrected version: First time trying a Japanese cheesecake, & I loved it! The place is very well located, the staff is friendly, & the service is surprisingly fast. The flavor is light, but you can still taste the cheese & sweetness in just the right amount. I will definitely go back & try the chocolate cheesecake.
The go to Japanese bakery if you crave for bake soufflé cake. They also offer a few other different pastries but the best is to eat it while it's still warm & out of the oven. Make sure you drop by & try it.
It's a quaint little shop offering Japanese cheesecakes in three delightful flavors, along with tarts & cookies. My personal favorite is the original cheesecake, & their charming packaging adds to the experience. If you find yourself near the downtown area, it's definitely worth a try.
