Le serveur était très gentil, de très bons conseils & très attentionné!! La cuisine est délicieuse, mention spécial aux sashimis de saumon qui n'ont pas leur pareil à Montréal!! La déco est épurée, le lieu agréable, excellent sur toute la ligne!!

Très bons sushis, faits devant vous, ce qui occasionne une petite attente. Le service était vraiment excellent, A++ Le bémol est le stationnement, qui est presque impossible à trouver. Nous avons dû aller dans un stationnement payant sous-terrain.
Omg! Probablement l'une des meilleures places de sushi, situé à Griffintown! 🍣 Tellement frais & le mélange de saveur est incroyable! Super belle ambiance, resto amenez votre vin, hyper charmant, super comme endroit ! 😊
Excellent restaurant, avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. À recommander!!! Le personnel est très agréable & le summum est lorsque le chef Hirose Abe fait ses prestations !!

Une expérience culinaire incroyable au Umamia! Le repas était tout simplement exquis. J'ai commencé par un plat de sushi magnifiquement présenté, avec des ingrédients frais & une texture parfaite. Ensuite, le riz garni de morceaux de saumon & croustillants était un véritable délice, avec une explosion de saveurs équilibrées & une belle présentation. Pour finir, le dessert cheesecake à la mousse fruitée était aussi beau que bon, avec une touche de douceur qui clôture parfaitement le repas. Tout cela accompagné d'un mojito bien préparées. Un restaurant à recommander sans hésitation!
Tried the eel poke bowl for the first time, & it definitely won't be the last! It was incredible. The atmosphere was fantastic, & our server, Dannick, made the experience even better. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Une expérience formidable ! De loin le meilleur restaurant « Japonais » que j'ai goûté depuis plusieurs années. La qualité du produit ici est largement au dessus de tout ce que l'on connaît à Montréal. Notre serveur Pierre-Marc nous a offert un service A1 tout en gérant l'entièreté de la salle & en discutant avec nous. L'équipe était souriante & professionnelle, que demander de plus !
Je suis allée manger à Umamia un mardi soir avec mon conjoint. Le restaurant est cozy avec un service exceptionnel !! Les serveurs sont au petit soin, la conversation se fait de manière très fluide. Notre serveur Pierre-Marc a su répondre à toutes nos questions concernants les produits/plats du menu. Je reviendrai souvent & recommande vivement l'établissement !

We enjoyed our diner at Umamia. I recommend & will come back. Bonus : it's a bring your own wine / alcohol Only 3 stars for the service because it was really slow (long wait to have the menu even water, & of course the food)
Best sushi place in Montreal by far! Great variety of delicious mocktails & BYOB option. Sushi & poke quality is exceptional, you can tell the fish is fresh & so flavourful. The dessert menu will please everyone's sweet tooth. The restaurant is beautiful & clean, & the great music choices only enhance the experience! Last but not least, the service is amazing! PM & his team really take it to heart to ensure their customers have a great time & it shows! Will be back soon for sure!
Japanese food is a cuisine I adore. However resolving a budget with Japanese food is a struggle. So this has got to be the place. I've eaten here a number of times & each time it's great food. Very good service. A varied menu at fair prices.
Had the most absolute delightful dining experience at Umamia! The food was incredible! Sushi so fresh it melted in your mouth! The service was even better - big shout out to Pierre Mark for making our evening extra special. Love that we can bring our own wine but that there were cocktails & tequila shots readily available! ;) We will definitely be going back & I've been recommending this to everyone I know!
