Trattoria Trestevere est décrite comme un restaurant italien traditionnel et chaleureux, avec une ambiance cosy et familiale et un service attentif et convivial. Le cadre simple et sans chichi et l'accueil chaleureux sont souvent soulignés, tout comme la qualité des plats. La carte propose des plats italiens authentiques et généreux, avec des favoris comme gnocchi rosé, lasagne, tortellini et carpaccio, ainsi que calamari, veau parmigiana et linguine aux fruits de mer. Les portions sont généreuses et les plats sont décrits comme délicieux et bien préparés, rappelant l'Italie traditionnelle. Des bémols concernent des prix parfois élevés et quelques détails comme une boisson facturée sans avertissement ou des variations de température, mais dans l'ensemble les retours restent majoritairement positifs et donnent envie de revenir pour l'ambiance, le service et le goût qui évoquent une vraie expérience italienne.
My family & I come to Trattoria Trestevere every time we're in Montreal. My kids love it, we love it, & we look forward to our visit every time. It is consistently delicious. Simple & authentic italian dishes. The food tastes like it came out of my Nonna's kitchen & the hospitality & warm welcome from Mauro & Joe only adds to the experience. 5 stars all around!!!
Another great dinning experience at Trattoria Trestevere. Had the carpaccio as an appetizer Phenomenal. & you can never go wrong with tortellini Gigi. Great atmosphere, Fantastic food as always. Thanks always to Mauro for making feel at home.

Cetait la deuxième fois ici & comme la première nous avons adoré ce restaurant , nous avons eux la meme table que l'année précédente ,l'ambiance de Italie & le proprio mauro tellement généreux & a l'écoute de nos besoin merci mauro a l'année prochaine !

The tortellini Gigi was the best I've ever had & the appetizers were phenomenal. No wonder this establishment has been around for over 50 years!!!

My husband & I have been coming here for years now & can't recommend it enough. I was baffled by some of the recent reviews so I had to write them a review. Beautiful cozy ambiance, amazing wine selection, quality food & most importantly exceptional service. Love Mauro the owner. He always makes us feel so welcome. All servers are also very friendly. Thanks for another amazing night. We couldn't have asked for more.
My husband & I selected this restaurant for my 60th birthday. Our server Mauro made some excellent menu suggestions which we enjoyed immensely. We had carpaccio, Caesar salad & Saltinboca alla Romana with a nice bottle of Italian red wine. Wow the « home run » was the fried gnocchi dessert. Excellent food quality…all made with love. Mauro & his colleagues Aluaro & Tau were very friendly & engaging. They made the dining experience very special. We will be back. We had fun & it was an excellent place to celebrate my 60th.
Sono venuta in vacanza da Milano a Montréal con il mio fidanzato e abbiamo trovato questo posto camminando in centro. Da subito siamo stati accolti calorosamente da Lucio e Mauro, che ci hanno seguiti in tutte le nostre richieste. Come primi piatti abbiamo preso cannelloni e gnocchi rosé, entrambi veramente buoni, poi abbiamo preso come dolce il tiramisù e lo zabaione, entrambi fatti veramente bene. L'espresso, invece, è stato l'unico buon caffè che abbiamo bevuto durante il soggiorno. Che dire. Atmosfera e staff calorosi, speriamo di ritornare un giorno!

We recently attended the 50th anniversary event of Trattoria Trestevere, & were very happy with the experience! The food was great, & Mauro had the service down to a science. This place really is a gem of the city, it's a testament to their continued attention to what makes this place special that it's been a staple for a half-century now.

Absolutely our favourite restaurant in Montreal, the service & food are superb, the food is fresh, homemade with complex & wonderfully rich flavours, We come here every time we are in Montreal & it is always an absolute pleasure from the moment we arrive to the time we leave. Avellino, Mauro & Tau make it an experience rather then just a dinner out, the attention paid during service is exceptional. I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy Trattoria Trestevere
I'm surprised to see some negative reviews about this restaurant. I've been fortunate to frequent this restaurant with my family for the past 20 years. It was our families weekend tradition & I'll never forget the incredible memories I've built with my family, my late father & now my wife & son. Mauro & his team have always treated everyone like their own family & I sincerely believe it's on the best Italian restaurants in Montreal. If you haven't been to Trattoria yet, then you absolutely need to check it out. My favourite is the chicken Parm & the lemon chicken but the lasagna & the pastas are also amazing. Everything is cooked from scratch & cooked to order. It's important to support local & this restaurant deserves it. 5 stars

I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants to eat truly authentic Italian food. Everything we had was amazing & the service was great. The homemade pasta really stood out to me. Thank you especially to Mauro, I will surely be passing by often!
Tonight, my friends & I visited Trattoria Trestevere in Montreal & we could not be more pleased with the experience that we shared. We were here for a bachelor dinner & we were greeted & served by our waitor & owner, Mauro! He was very warm, welcoming, hospitable, knowledgeable, & dedicated to excellence in customer service. He made great recommendations & the food was nothing short of delicious. We had an incredible 5 star experience & we highly recommend this establishment; the service, environment, & food! Thank you for an incredible experience & we hope to cross paths soon!

An absolute jewel in the heart of downtown Montreal. If you haven't been, it's time to visit. We visited this restaurant last night & we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Beautiful ambiance & amazing food which is worth elaborating...I had their escargot as a starter & gnocchi rose for main & my friend had smoked salmon & Osso Buco. My meal was to die for. We also shared a tiramisu & fried gnocchis for dessert which both were so yummy. Last but not least...Exceptional service. Mauro, the owner who served us was very inviting & charming. Thanks for an amazing dining experience!!
