This is an amazing place that you should visit. My second time here, I came from Toronto just to eat here. The owner is amazingly gentil, & the food, it's, WOW. If you're reading this, come & give it a shot, you won't regret. 😎
Excellent fish & pasta. Really. Location of the dinning room below the sidewalk level is interesting as well... service is... a bit rough. Very italian maybe ? Not sure...

A wonderful italian dinner, from start to finish. Started with mixed greens salad. Arrabiata for main course, with an excellent toscana wine. Don't pass up dessert; the fried gnocchi is excellent! I'll be back the next time I visit Montréal!
Highly recommend this restaurant. Ravioli & cannelloni were out of this world (& we've been to Italy). Service was excellent. Great ambiance, perfect for a dinner conversation. Go check it out. We went twice in a row!

We recently attended the 50th anniversary event of Trattoria Trestevere, & were very happy with the experience! The food was great, & Mauro had the service down to a science. This place really is a gem of the city, it's a testament to their continued attention to what makes this place special that it's been a staple for a half-century now.
