We came here for Mother's Day, & while the service was excellent, the overall dining experience didn't quite match the level of other top steakhouses in Montreal.
Our waiter was friendly & knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the different steak cuts & even plated the food for us when it arrived, which added a nice touch.
To start, we ordered the crab cake, lobster dumplings, Cesar salad & huîtres Rockefeller. The crab cake was unfortunately too salty, & while the other appetizers were fine, none were particularly memorable.
For mains, we had the 32 oz Kansas & 12 oz New York steaks. Both were fine but lacked the depth of flavor & tenderness you'd expect at this price point. The sides included sweet potatoes, lobster mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, & mushrooms. They were rich & comforting, but nothing stood out.
The sauces (réduction de veau au porto & béarnaise à la truffe) were flavorful but didn't elevate the steaks as much as we'd hoped.
Before dessert, our tablecloth had been stained with sauce from our plates, & the waiter kindly covered it with clean cloths, which was a thoughtful gesture. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake,'apple of my pie,' & the T360 cookie. They were good overall, though nothing we'd go back for. The chocolate cake, in particular, was disappointing. It was mushy & far from decadent.
The bill came to around $600, which felt steep for food that didn't quite deliver. It was a pleasant evening with attentive service, but the food didn't quite meet expectations for a special occasion.Voir plus

Great service & amazing food! Their Caesar salad is the best I've had, & the steak with pepper sauce was cooked to perfection. However, my experience was slightly affected by a reservation issue. Despite booking in advance, the hostess couldn't find my reservation in the system, which led to a 30-minute wait. In the end, she finally realized it had been there all along. Overall, a great spot for dining, but they could improve their reservation managementVoir plus

First time visiting. Completely blown away with the types of cuts I witnessed on the main floor & the basement floor. Thank you George for an unforgettable evening. Thank you Danny for explaining to me the different cuts of beef, curing for forty days in the displays Thank you also for helping me to choose my next dinner at this beautiful steakhouse. It will be between the Tomahawk, 40 oz & the RTS (rib steak), 36 oz. George, you have a great team. Best steaks in town, naturally aged & flavored, tender & delicious. Superb service, cocktails on point, dessert delicious. Regards to Louis for his supreme service! Will definitely comeback in the near future!

Honnêtement c'est un des meilleurs restaurants en ville pour les steaks, la viande est de qualité & la présentation est incroyable. Je recommande le Tartare de saumon qui est hyper délicieux. De plus le staff est hyper attentif aux besoins des clients. 100%, officiellement dans mes tops 10 des restaurants. Our table for eight (8) was ready when we arrived for our reservation. Menu's were provided promptly, our water glasses were immediately filled & our waiter took the drink orders for those of us who wanted them while reviewing the extensive menu. After informing us of the daily specials not on the menu, our waiter took the time necessary to explain all the different steak options we could enjoy for those of us who wanted to share. The appetizers arrived promptly which was appreciated. Their Octopus was superb as were the huge shrimps we ordered to share. Then we had a good 45 minute wait before our main courses arrived which we felt was rather long. Our friends who ordered the Surf & Turf said their food was great as was my veal chop. Our wives who ordered the Tomahawk Cut of steak were really disappointed that although it was cooked properly to medium rare, the meat was tough & very "Chewy". Unfortunately they were hungry & did not call the waiter back to object to & advise their disappointment & several pieces were left over & were not taken home. So half the table enjoyed the meal while the other half did not. We may try the restaurant again as it is bright, airy, has attentive staff & overall the food was good... but we did expect better from a High End Steakhouse.Voir plus

Ambiance relax. Service correct. Je comprends que ce restaurant ait un concept pas mal ordinaire mais personnellement ça fait partie des choses que j'ai le moins apprécié : tout ce qui est plat d'accompagnement & sauce n'est pas inclus dans le « terre » ou « mer », ce qui fait que la facture augmente assez rapidement. L'autre point négatif, c'est la moindre quantité des quartiers de patates douce. Je ne m'attendais absolument pas à n'en recevoir que 5-6 & sans parler du steak qui manquait d'assaisonnement à mon goût. J'ai dû ajouter du sel/poivre ainsi que de la sauce épicée (à côté), ce qui n'a pas changé grand chose malheureusement.Voir plus

La bouffes était excellente, petit côtés négatif, les prix, 😲 & je n'ai jamais aimé les restos qui font comme ça pour les à-côtés, tu prends un steaks, ils y as un prix pour, les patates, les légumes, différents, un prix en extra, pour chaque. Les desserts, un morceau de gâteau a 11.$ & vous rajouter a ça une boule de crème glacée, 9.$ 😵💫Ça coûte chers... Ambiances superbes, services excellent. OMG...Meilleur steak house à vie. Tout était impeccable. Le service, les entrées, le repas principal, le dessert, le café, le vestiaire...Service attentionné, cuisson parfaite, portions généreuses.
