This MIGHT warrant a 4 stars IF the soups were hotter (temperature wise) & more flavor... But no. The kara that I ordered is just basic spiciness, underneath there is almost no flavor, other than being a bit salty. The noodles themselves are also quite simple, definitely not homemade or anything... Lacks texture.
Honestly it feels like just having Shin instant noodles... When there is a Sansotei just around the corner in a walking distance with better soup & noodles, it doesn't justify the cost... Hence, sorry for the 3 stars.

Great ramen option at Royalmount. Tried the Kara ramen, it has just the right amount of spicy. The presentation & the taste are both great. Could use a little more pork for the price but overall a solid option.
Aujourd'hui, avec toute cette neige & ce vent glacé, j'avais vraiment froid… mais un bol bien épicé & fumant de ramen Kara m'a réchauffé le coeur autant que le ventre !
C'est tout aussi bon que les ramens que je mangeais autrefois au Japon
& avec une petite bière commandée au bar du food court, c'était tout simplement le combo parfait !
La prochaine fois, je tenterai le ramen Sio.
J'ai déjà envie d'y retourner… Je recommande vivement !
Went via Metro to this new upscale mall & food court. Food were all prepared individually & to a higher standard than typical mall food courts. Enjoyed the Kara bowl. Just the right amount of spice & absolutely delicious.
I chose Kara for spicy one. No any other smell in their chashu of my Kara Ramen even I disliked pork meat. It was good! The plating was so neat & looked tasty. The staff was so kind from Tori Ramen & other servers of food court in Royal mount helped enjoying for our mealtime. I'll visit again for sure.
Tried three ramen-Shoyu, Shio, & Miso-& each one was excellent. The broth was rich, flavorful, & well-balanced, just like an authentic Japanese ramen shop. However, I felt the addition of more cabbage & bean sprouts (moyashi) would enhance both the presentation & authenticity.
The karaage chicken was crispy & tasty, but with only four pieces per plate, I was hoping for a bit more. A slightly larger portion would definitely make it more satisfying.
One small issue was the chopsticks-they were a bit thick at the bottom, making them less comfortable to use. A slightly more tapered design would improve the experience.
The ambience inside the restaurant is great, with comfortable seating in the new mall location. The pricing is slightly on the higher side, but considering the excellent taste, it's still reasonable.
Overall, a great place for ramen lovers in Montreal.......will definitely return.
I had the Kara ramen, asked for extra spicy & it was really delicious! I ended up drinking up all the soup. It was that good. I'd love to try the Tonkotsu next time :) should try this place !
Had the tonkotsu, absolutely delicious & a generous portion too! The karaage & takoyaki are must haves too. Staff is super friendly, this place is worth your time!
It's a Japanese-style ramen restaurant that recently opened on Royal Mount Mall. Personally, I found the spicy ramen dishes, Kara & Tori Paitan, to be delicious. The okonomiyaki was also tasty. The place is friendly & clean.
