Tiradito is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, & it's easy to understand how it has become one of Montreal's most beloved Peruvian destinations. The restaurant blends the spirit of a lively tapas bar with the finesse of contemporary gastronomy, all guided by Executive Chef Marcel Larrea, who delivers an explosion of flavors with every dish.
The concept is distinctive: no tables, only counters wrapping around the room. It creates a vibrant, social atmosphere where the energy of the kitchen becomes part of the experience.
🍽? The Food
We sampled a selection of classics - ceviche, causa, chicharrón, yuca fries, cocktails & pisco.
Each plate arrives like a piece of art: visually stunning, meticulously composed, & bursting with color. & the best part is that the taste fully lives up to the presentation.
Ceviche: a masterclass in balance. The fish is silky & tender, contrasted by the crunch of the cancha corn, creating a refined interplay of textures.
Causa: delicate & refreshing, with layers that reveal themselves gradually on the palate.
Chicharrón: crisp, generous, & deeply satisfying, elevated by the chef's Peruvian touch.
Yuca fries: a more elegant & wholesome alternative to traditional fries, with a dense yet soft interior.
Cocktails & pisco: expertly crafted, aromatic, & transporting - the kind of drinks that make you feel like you're sitting somewhere tropical by the sea.
At several moments, the flavors were so bright & evocative that I genuinely felt transported far from downtown Montreal.
🌟 Ambiance & Service
The space is trendy, stylish, & perfect for impressing a friend, colleague, or date. The service is warm & efficient.
💸 Value
For such a central location, the ambiance, & the level of culinary execution, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You leave feeling like you've experienced something special without the bill becoming excessive.
Bottom line: Tiradito remains one of Montreal's standout ambassadors of Peruvian cuisine. A must?visit for anyone looking to travel through flavor without leaving the city. This place has become one of our top restaurant spots in this city. Highly recommended.
Tried this place a few minutes up the street from where I work & was not disappointed. The fusion of the dishes is Peruvian/Japanese & each dish was very flavourful & fresh. The cocktails we tried were very tasty & well presented. The same applies to the dishes, the plating was super well done. The staff was very friendly, definitely recommend this spot.

Sans aucun doute le meilleur restaurant péruvien fusion de la ville.
Un service irréprochable, une cuisine d'une qualité exceptionnelle & une ambiance élégante qui rend l'expérience mémorable du début à la fin.
Without a doubt the best Peruvian fusion restaurant in the city.
Impeccable service, outstanding cuisine, & a stunning atmosphere that makes the entire experience unforgettable.
Great casual Peruvian spot
The food is delicious & beautifully presented, everything we tried was super flavorful & fresh
The staff is very friendly & welcoming.
The place also has a great vibe. Stylish but not pretentious, & perfect for a casual dinner sitting at the bar, sharing a few plates. Definitely a great spot for Peruvian food
P.S. They also have Inca Kola, which was such a fun surprise!
Everything was nice, from food to service. Favorite restaurant in Montreal so far because this restaurant made us discover how delicious & special peruvian cuisine is, it feels surprisingly fresh & light, it actually reminds me more of Asian food than what I usually expect from American cuisines. Plus the ambiance is vivid & chill, highly recommend.
Great place & delicious Peruvian dishes with a flair. Worth it 👍
Unfortunately the Pisco Sour wasn't good enough to order a second one so instead I tried the Chilcano cocktail & it was really good 👍
Nice atmosphere 👍😎
The lightning didn't help to get better pics of the dishes & drinks.
Tasty Peruvian/Asian food! The vibes are great first of all, great place with music for a Friday night dinner. The restaurant is tapas style, the portions are small so you should order 2-3 plates for yourself. There's no'table' to sit down & have proper dinner, it's more like barstools & bar counters. This was a big annoying for a pregnant woman like myself but I ended up standing in front of bar & enjoying the music rather than sitting down. I recommend you try this place, it's nice ! My favorite was the'bao type' sandwich
Great peruvian place to go & enjoy eating peruvian tapas with a pisco sour or Inka cola! Delicious food & good ambiance! Perfect for a date with friends or lovers.
This is a fun Peruvian restaurant that specialises in Nikkei cuisine situated along Rue de Bleury. The indoor seating wraps around the bar, there are outdoor tables as well. Opening hours are 5.30pm to 10.30pm daily. Had a really nice dinner here during a recent visit to Montreal, one we'd be very happy to repeat in the future.
Share style plates were all very good during our meal. Octopus, raw fish, duck skewers, dumplings & ceviche dishes were enjoyed by all, as were the nicely mixed cocktails behind the bar. Environs are really nice, lighting dim, bar side seating works well for groups of 2-3, service was friendly & timely with orders, prices reasonable for the quality & portion sizes of servings.

We came here for Peruvian tapas & shared everything on the table. The dumplings were just okay - the dough was a bit dry & didn't hold together well, so the filling fell out. On the other hand, the crispy shrimp were absolutely delicious & the yucca fries completely stole the show - perfectly golden, super crispy, & even better than regular fries. A fun place to try a mix of dishes, with some real standouts! 🍤
The food is delicious! They have some dishes that lean a bit more asian-fusion than Peruvian, but the Peruvian dishes are far better. The drinks are great & it's fun getting to sit at the bar & watch as everything comes together. I would say that it is a bit of challenging space if you want to have a good chat over dinner. The bar style seating is good if you are no more than two people. Fun atmosphere & food though
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Try the classic ceviche, yuca fries, duck anticucho, suspiró (for dessert), pisco sour (for drinks). I always go to Tiradito when I come to MTL, such good Peruvian food.
Food was creative & fun as always. Good vibe.. a must for a fun evening with amazing Peruvian cocktails & food that is just so fresh & tasty every time !

Absolutely blown away by Tiradito, Montreal's hottest spot for Peruvian eats & beats! As a Peruvian guy, I can confidently say this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the city.
First off, the vibe is electric: a sleek, tapas-style bar where everyone sits together, soaking up the energy of the open kitchen & the buzz of cocktail shakers in action. The staff bring that perfect mix of warmth & professionalism.
Now, the food. The tapas-style plates are perfect for sharing & exploring the menu's full range. You'll want to try everything: the ceviche is simply mind-blowing-fresh, zesty, & packed with flavor, easily the best in Montreal.
Drinks? The Pisco Sour is legendary, but don't sleep on the Maracuyá Sour if you're into passionfruit. The cocktail menu is as creative as the food, & every sip feels like a celebration.
Tiradito is more than a restaurant-it's an experience. Whether you're here for a few tapas & drinks or a full-on feast, you'll leave impressed, satisfied, & already planning your next visit.
For anyone looking for authentic Peruvian flavors with a modern twist, this is your spot. Trust me, as a local Peruvian, Tiradito is the real deal!
If you really like peruvian you HAVE to come to this place. If you don't know peruvian, you HAVE to try it! The food was to die for & the service was amazing! 12/10 would recommend.
I had an amazing Peruvian ceviche - super fresh & full of flavor! I also loved the yuca fries; they were perfectly crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. Such a great way to kill the nostalgia for South America!
Good atmosphere, good service, but not peruvian (only the name). I went there expecting peruvian flavors, & I get really disappointed. Good are food if you're searching montreal's food, NOT peruvian. The picarones are the worst i ever tried. But the shrimps were good.
