Let me tell you something about Keg. They don't just serve steak; they serve manna from the meat gods themselves. Juicy, succulent, & cooked to perfection. & don't even get me started on the Escargot appetizer-each bite is a symphony of flavor that'll make your taste buds weep tears of joy. Now, let's talk scotch. They've got a selection that would make even the most seasoned whiskey connoisseur weak in the knees. As for the service, it's like having a team of steak-loving ninjas attending to your every need. I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional customer service I received from the general manager, Megan at the Keg Ville Marie location. During my recent visit, I encountered some difficulties while trying to place an order for pickup. Although I don't want to delve into the specifics, I would like to highlight the outstanding assistance I received from Megan. My family & I were in town to celebrate my birthday & while we typically dine in at the Keg, this time we decided to opt for takeout dinner as we had our little one with us. Being a loyal customer of the Keg for over 30 years, I have always had wonderful experiences & this visit was no exception. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I requested to speak with the manager to address the issue I encountered. Megan went above & beyond to handle my entire order & even offered me a special menu item as compensation for the inconvenience. I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for Megan's exceptional service. The Keg has always impressed me not only with their delicious food but also with their unparalleled customer service. Another Keg visit that did not disappoint. Started with fried calamari. Ordered steaks & pork chop special, all cooked to temperatures ordered. Mac & cheese was enjoyed by the kids. Reasonably priced for what you get. Will return again.View more

Vacation in Montreal, trying out one of the suggested best Steak house. We had the 18oz prime rib with mash potatoes cooked med rare, 12 oz New York strip cooked medium rare, BBQ ribs full rack, & vegetarian meat loaf. Calamari for appetizers & Brussels sprouts to share. Over all it was a great meal, our server was friendly & attentive. She totally forgot our Brussels sprout, & gave it to us on the house. That's great service!View more

I can't express enough how great of an evening we had at The Keg Ville-Marie. My mother who has terminal cancer has been dreaming of one night at the Keg. She's been in the hospital for weeks & we weren't sure if we could make this happen. She was finally able to get a pass for one night & The Keg graciously accommodated our last-minute request for a table even though it was during a very busy game night. Immediately upon arriving, the manager, staff (& security who had to run out to get us a wheelchair for her) went above & beyond to make sure she felt safe & welcome at their restaurant. Upon seating, our waiter Nathan took a moment to share with us his story. He had just lost his own mother to cancer 2 weeks prior. He felt - & we agreed - the universe had brought us together. Needless to say, it felt very special & emotional to have Nathan as our server that night. He attended to us like royalty making my mother feel like a queen. They even gave us champagne on the house. Of course, beyond the reception & service, the food was incredible. For appetizers, we had the Neptune stuffed mushrooms & calamari & for the mains the table had the rib-eye & they were all cooked to perfection. The dinner ended with a surprise chocolate/mocha ice cream cake for my mom, which (again) was just an amazing act from the restaurant & Nathan to make my mom feel special. All in all it was a really wonderful night & the whole team at The Keg helped make it a night that we will always have as very a special memory.View more
