We've been to this wonderful restaurant twice & it has been a great experience both times indeed 😇 The restaurant had the summer lobster special menu & we had lobster gratinée for entree to the lobster roll to the Sirloin & half Atlantic lobster for the main meal & every bite was beyond delicious ❤️ Cannot give enough thanks to the wonderful chef for making each bite a gourmet delight ❤️ We also appreciated the impeccable service showcased by the staff with great hospitality & always asking if we like the food to always making the rounds & being on their feet 😊 The dessert was the deliciously awesome Billy's miner pie & mini crème brûlée along with latte ❤️ We cannot recommend this 11/10 venue & it's the best place to have date nights or just a get together with friends & family ❤️View more

It was NOT the Keg that I was used to go to! Definitely changed over the years! I don't know whether it was Quebec territory instead of Ontario that I used to go, but there was something changed! First, the waiting once seated, took them about 15mins to welcome me & bring a glass of water. Then the food: I had the lobster bisque, which was merely acceptable, (almost no lobster, only traces), some croutons which were a couple days old... The fillet was cooked as requested, very tender, but overall a flat taste! The service good, not excellent, only good. I'll think twice if I visit this one again. DisappointedView more

Our server was great but new?...missed a few little things like refilling our water, asking for drink refills, missed asking if we wanted pepper on our steaks, & possibly short staffed as we only had the food delivered & never saw our waitress again until bill.View more

I've been here several times, & the last time was one of my poorer experiences. The waiter was friendly but took the liberty of making decisions for the table without consulting us. Instead of regular butter, he brought cheese butter. I asked for my baked potatoes for butter, bacon, & chives. He replied the works?! I said no & repeated butter, bacon, & chives because I do not like sour cream. I tried the steak & lobster for the first time but found that the lobster tail was small. I understand why the keg offers two tails with the lobster meal. We also had the rib steak, which was cooked to perfection. No complaints. The service can be a real hit or miss. Sometimes it's fantastic & other times it's okay. But it has never been like my recent experienceView more

We visited this location on the 13th of June, 2024. It was my husband's bday & he loves the prime rib. This time, however, the prime rib was not good. We each had one & they were tiny & not the same usual amazing flavours. On top of that, the fire alarm was screeching & blaring for 15 - 20 mins. They gave us our soft drinks for free & the bill with tax & tip was still 130$. Very disappointed.View more
