Good & tasty tapioca the rest was ok I guess. No oat milk available, only cow & soy milk. I had way better ones elsewhere so I was a bit disappointed. Decor is nice & staff was friendly.
I recommend the royal number 9 milk teat or jasmin milk tea with tapioca if you're not a big fan of suga
for a 9$ thing, the tapioca balls were hard in the middle, not thoroughly cooked.
Staff was nice & the environment was great. but like i said, tapioca balls not fully cooked.
Very nice darker ambiance. It's a very popular place so of course there's more of a wait. But it's the best tapioca I have ever had in my life. Probably the reason why I come here everytime I'm back for a visit in Montreal. Quantity of tapioca was also great I could barely finish all of them. The people were nice, quick, & efficient. I just wish there were more places to sit down & enjoy it.
I came here today for the first time not sure what to order. The cashier helped me out & her recommendation was DELICIOUSSSS. I got a tirimisu boba slushy type drink. Also, the cashier was so nice, super smiley, just interacting with her made my day better. At first I thought the prices were too high for the quantity. HOWEVER, I stand corrected, it is absolutely worth it for the quality. I've paid the same price for bigger drinks but nothing compares to the quality of this place. This drink had layers, it was an experience, it was exactly what I was looking for. I live in the west Island & I only went to this place because I study at JMSB. I find it really hard to find good tapioca but I finally have!! Last thing, the place is so cute & clean, such a vibe to grab a drink with friends.
I went during their collaboration with Spy X Family & the interior design was so cute. The place is already cosy & friendly to begin with so the addition of the cute merchandise only made it better in my opinion. The drinks were pretty good, better than a lot of other places I have been to. The tapioca were a bit chewier than what I would have liked but they were still pretty good. The service was smiling & they were all very friendly & patient, it was a great experience. One thing that I feel like it is not as good as other places is probably the size. Compared to some other chains, the size of the drinks are a bit small for the price.
delicious boba! the seating area is very cozy. i asked to add tapioca to a drink & they said that it wasn't possible so i had to take another drink... waiting for the drink was a bit long but it was worth it at the end, the flavours were so fresh & refreshing ;)
One of my favorite bubble tea places! The sizing is perfect for me, but is rather small compared to some other places (for the same price). However, the tapioca pearls are very good & of better quality than more popular stores. I've had the tiramisu one, & it was sooo good! All the drinks I've tried so far were really good & not too sweet:)
The classic Deerioca with their soft tapioca is always a must here!
One of my fav! But most of the time there's no more tapioca & to me a bubble tea without tapioca is not a bubble tea
The Deerioca Ube with Puff is out-of-this-world delicious! Best bubble tea of my life. The tapioca pearls taste perfectly caramelized, they're freshly cooked & still hot which mixes so well with the cold drink. My bubble tea standards have risen to new heights. How can I go elsewhere now? Thank you The Alley
For starters, i’ve been coming to The Alley for a little over 2 years now & my go-to drinks are the following:
- Classic Milk Tea w/ tapioca pearls
- Passion Fruit Green Tea w/ tapioca pearls + lychee jelly
On September 18th, I arrived at around 9:25pm & waited in a small line, behind 3-4 people to be precise.
I was in the mood to try something new & seeing as there was no one waiting behind me, I decided to ask a few questions regarding the store’s most popular drinks.
The employee was polite & helpful, but most importantly she was very patient when it came to answering all my concerns & gave me some suggestions as well- which I really appreciated.
2-3 minutes went by & I was still feeling conflicted, therefore I decided to just go w/ my usual Classic Milk Tea (as I didn’t want to make the worker wait any more than she already has).
For the tip, I selected the 20% option, since the great customer service I was shown warranted that.
In terms of the drink itself, it took about 5 minutes to prepare & it tasted good (just like how I remembered it), though I did notice there was more tapioca pearls than usual, which is a nice bonus of course!
All in all, I definitely plan on coming back whenever I’m craving a high quality bubble tea drink :)
