Really good bubble tea place, & had some wild options. Even at half sugar they were too sweet for me, but I'm not going to dock them any points for that. If you want a dessert in a glass, this is the place.

I hated bubble tea until I tried bubble tea here, & so far, I've loved everything I've tried. This is one of my special treat places, & one of the places I take guests to when we're in the area. The boba & jellies are just right - sweet, firm, chewy, perfect texture & flavour. The long line can be annoying. It's a good place & popular, so that's something to consider, that there could be a wait to order, even though the staff behind the counter always seem efficient & hard at work. Bilingual staff.

No matter where you are in the world, The Alley consistently delivers on high quality boba especially in a place that doesn't typically have artisan boba available. I'm a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur so I fully expected to enjoy this drink, & I did. They offer a variety of high quality milk & fruit tea beverages, & even offer non-dairy milk which made it the ideal situation for myself. I went with a Jasmine Soy Milk Tea Latte with Boba & it was refreshingly perfect. Boba was soft & satisfying, the milk tea had the perfect level of sweetness to it, & I was happy. Service was friendly & quick, & the decor inside had The Alley's trademark antlers welcoming guests to the shop. Definitely recommend as a spot for boba if you're downtown.

One of my favorite bubble tea places! The sizing is perfect for me, but is rather small compared to some other places (for the same price). However, the tapioca pearls are very good & of better quality than more popular stores. I've had the tiramisu one, & it was sooo good! All the drinks I've tried so far were really good & not too sweet:)

Weird little place with a nice fake tree inside (shoutout to 1000 de la gauchetiere before it became boring) The entrance really didn't look like an entrance, not much seating inside but the menu & pricing was a nice huge board so easy to read. Bobbas are on the extremely sweet side, hyped to go there but we weren't impressed with the price to quality & taste ratio. Doesn't taste like the the Alley in China. There are more interesting offerings around.

Super yummy! I got the Deerioca Fever milk tea & quite enjoyed it. I recommend adding more sweetness as the flavour has a plain milk taste. But aside from that, a beautifully crafted drink, definitely will be coming back. Thank you The Alley Montreal 🧋🫶🏻

Service can be slow but you can see how fresh everything is prepared. I love the brown sugat taro... the flavor is layered & rich, not too sweet.
