Tenka Sushi Brossard Restaurant: Menu, Reviews & Reserve (2026)
SushiJapanesePoke BowlCatering
Tenka Sushi specializes in traditional Japanese cuisine, catered towards the Montreal casual dining experience. Open since September 2007, the restaurant offers a quiet and romantic setting, ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends. The lighting is dim, the music is low, and the surroundings are peaceful. To begin, let the experienced chef present you with a choice of ten appetizers – from the traditional (shishamo fish) to the modern (sushi pizza).

The most popular dining choice at Tenka Sushi are the combo plates for two guests. Consisting of 30 to 35 pieces of sushi or sashimi, including soup or salad, these are very affordable. Main courses are extensive, and include a range of hot and cold plates such as Udon noodle soup, grilled eel on steamed rice, salmon tataki, half-cold and half-raw fish with traditional sauce served on rice, plus fried shrimp and fried crab.

Should you desire the more classic maki, sashimi, sushi or tempuras, chances are that Tenka Sushi serves it. Ask your server or the chef for any special requests. The specialty cakes come highly recommended, so save room for dessert.

Review Summary

Tenka Sushi receives widespread praise for fresh, high quality ingredients and well crafted rolls, with salmon nigiri and salmon sashimi noted as exceptionally fresh and flavorful, and creative options like Uluru, rainbow, and mango rolls along with reliable poke bowls; the service is described as friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a good choice for dates or casual meals; takeout and delivery are praised for staying fresh and easy to order; while a few reviews mention a past drop in quality and service, the place is still regarded by many as the best sushi in the area and a top pick on the South Shore; the small space with limited tables means calling ahead during peak hours is often advised.
