Lanzhou Lamian, also known as Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles, is a type of Chinese noodle dish that originated in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province in China. It is a popular street food in China and can be found in many Chinese restaurants around the world.
The process of making Lanzhou Lamian is an art form in itself. The dough is made from wheat flour, water, and sometimes eggs. The dough is then hand-pulled, stretched, and folded in a specific way to create the thin, chewy noodles. The noodles are then boiled and served in a clear soup broth, which is made from beef bones, spices, and herbs. Thinly sliced beef, green onions, and cilantro are often added as toppings.
Nouilles KungFu earns praise for fresh, handmade noodles made on site, flavorful broths, and generous portions at reasonable prices. The open kitchen and the option to customize noodles by thickness, along with fast, attentive service in a cozy, small setting, contribute to an authentic and welcoming dining experience. Noodles are repeatedly described as chewy and well prepared, with many noting that the broth remains rich without becoming greasy as it cools. Beef and Lanzhou style soups are standout favorites, and many reviewers say they would definitely return, even as a few mention occasional longer waits, a busy atmosphere, or rooms that can get quite hot. Overall the reviews converge on high quality, consistent flavors, and strong value, making Nouilles KungFu a go-to spot for hand pulled noodles on the south shore.
Nouilles Kungfu is absolutely delicious! The portions are generous, & the service is incredibly friendly & professional. Highly recommended - I'll definitely come back whenever I'm in the area.
Excellente soupe. Les nouilles sont préparées au moment de la commande. Généreux. La commande est faite via notre téléphone. Code QR... Recommandé. Merci

I'm not usually a big fan of soups or noodles, but this place completely won me over. The homemade pork noodle soup was incredibly flavorful & rich, every bite felt carefully crafted, & you could really taste the difference the handmade noodles made. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it.
On the other hand, the special chicken noodles were just as impressive, perfectly balanced with a hint of spice & a lovely nutty undertone. Both dishes were delicious in their own way.
I'd highly recommend this spot & will definitely be coming back!
Petit resto bien chaleureux.

The ramen here is pretty decent. Just don't let the noodles sit in the broth for too long, or they'll lose their springy texture. The cold side dishes are light & refreshing as well. Overall, if you don't feel like cooking, it's a solid choice.
My husband & I had been looking for a place to eat for at least an hour this February 14th, & then this spot appeared in our path!
We arrived just in time & were lucky to get a table. The noodles are made fresh on site - super fresh - & the broth was absolutely delicious. I dare to say it's the first noodle soup we've had that tastes this good & doesn't become greasy as it cools down.
We will definitely be coming back.
It's a small, very pleasant & cozy place, with great service & very affordable prices.

The food is very good. I try to take different noodles every time & I'm never disappointed. The service is also amazing & the price very reasonable I will continue to go & recommend 100%
I only remembered to take a photo halfway through because I was too eager to start eating. The noodles were wonderfully chewy, it was fascinating to watch the handmade noodle-making process, & the staff were very attentive & polite. Overall, the dining experience was extremely satisfying & enjoyable.

Noodles in my dish were undercooked & extremely salty. I usually eat salty but I was not able to finish my dish. The'sauce' was a soup of soy sauce & salt. My husband's lan zhou noodle were overcooked & just fell apart in the soup. The broth was ok. Its not the first time. This place just doesn't get the noodle consistency right.
