Fresh, delicious sushi & great service! The cozy seating area makes the experience great. Their chef special crunch-style sushi rolls are a standout-tasty, creative, & definitely worth trying. Highly recommend!
Nice decor, service is friendly. Menu was very big. Sushi is affordable & fish tasted pretty fresh. The rice was a bit on the wet side & made the seaweed wrinkled & chewy. Pieces advertised with jalapeno was, what we believe was, green peppers. Soy sauce is diluted to watery sugar. I love me some sweet soy sauce but this was overly watered down, we could barely tell it was soy sauce. Thankfully they put a bottle of spicy mayo on the table. Although fish looked & tasted relatively fresh, a fried roll we had only had a tiny sliver of tuna. Dinner was edible & well presented but their tactics to cut corners were not missed. Good for a casual dinner out but would likely not be returning. There are better places to dine in west island for sushi. Sadly, the great reviews did not match what we experienced with their food.
LOVE their sushi, i personally really like the arashi & nagoya roll; i also love their matcha desserts! i often order from ubereats so i'd love to see their matcha desserts on the menu sometime soon :)
Very happy to discover this sushi restaurant in the West Island. We had dinner here & we ate super well. We ordered the Sashimi platter & 9 Maki rolls. Everything was very well prepared & tasted so delicious. We also tried the desserts: the custard taiyaki (nice crispy outside), the custard cake, the matcha parfait (great for sharing) & a kinako mochi. The decor of the restaurant was cute & it reminded us of our time in Japan. The chef was very sweet & the waiter was very attentive.
Great sushi spot. A bit hard to find but cozy & attentive. Had some sashimi & rolls. All solid. Feels like a shop in a Japanese city.
Very fresh sushi served with a smile. We ordered a platter & some rolls. The menu is comprehensive & the chef offered to make sure some agadashi tofu & sonomuno salad despite not having it on the menu. The place is very clean
Ordered for delivery for the first time, the presentation was beautiful & the food looked fresh. I was somewhat disappointed that they mix sooo much tempura flakes in the'spicy salmon' maki, the spicy tuna chef's special, & the DDO maki, that I could barely taste the difference between the rolls (one is salmon, one is tuna, & one is scallop/crab...). If you're new to eating sushi then this is a great place to start, as there isn't that much fish in the rolls & the flavour is mild. However, the fish that was there was fresh & tasted good. The salmon sashimi was good & was the best item that I ordered :) If they put more fish (especially for the price you pay) & less tempura - it would be perfect!
Excellent. Very fresh. Cute ambiance & really good service. Mainly done salmon there & a few of the veg rolls, but have to go try other items. The miso soup is really good. & for take out it comes in renewable bowls.
Very fresh, delicious
These rolls are filled with fresh fish, very good!
This is my preferred sushi rolls in the West Island
many other places in (like Sushi Sama) try to cut their cost by filling most of the roll with excessive amount of filler like ricecrispy, & you cannot even see or taste any fish.
At this place, you can really taste your food
Super recommend!
