I have been here a handful of times & I always enjoy my dinner. I love their torched sashimi, everything else is tasty too & the menu has diversity. The restaurant is clean & has a nice layout. They have nice options on the drink list like soju & sake. Service staff is friendly, although sometimes it can be hard to get their attention when it's busy. Overall one of my favorite AYCE sushi spot! Parking is a plus.
I really liked the concept & the food quality. The price is quite fair for the variety of food you can get. I recommend this all you can eat for 45$ for dinner during week days. Service on point! My little minus is just a preference but as a sushi lover I wished there was more variety of sushis, most of them are sashimis, nigiris with a little options for makis..Would definitely come back :)
Went here for dinner with the family for my daughter's birthday. Definitely will be coming back. The food was amazing. The presentation was great. The sashimi were so fresh & so savoury & just melt in your mouth like butter. The portion size were perfect. They were too Large like some places where you kind of get filled up really fast by the stir fry foods or the rice or the noodles. The atmosphere was really nice. The place is very clean, kind of intimate & the music selection was really nice.
My only con would be the water; I found the water had a bit of an off taste.
Overall, the food & everything was really great. Definitely give us place a five stars shout out to her waiter for doing a candle in the ice cream & singing happy birthday for our daughter. That was a real nice special touch!
Edit (2025-07-01) : Food is still delicious, but service has really gone down. The last few times we went, servers were dismissive & simply not nice. It's disappointing because it really affects the ambiance & made us very uncomfortable.

My favorite restaurant! It's probably the only AYCE who still serve salmon sashimi at lunch time. Food is delicious. Service is very quick & efficient. & the most important point that really makes the whole difference, is that the staff is very nice!

Hands down the BEST ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI EVER !!! The service was super was , the food is delicious , the sashimi was super fresh & a big menu. I recommend this place 100% you're not gonna regret it.
Taketa has a good reputation in the west Island & I have been before. This time, kitchen food felt it was sitting on the counter for 30min. Sashimi was cut like they were feeding a dog. Waiter was rude. I arrived at 9pm. They told me to sit down without telling me last call was 15min after. It felt like a scam. They should have mentioned it. I had a stomach headache after as well…
A good spot for all-you-can-eat Sushi, great variety of Sashimi, Nigri & Maki. The oriental cuisine is very delicious. Saumon teriyaki is a must try. The service was good.
The food was not fresh. The sashimi was unfortunately not cleaned properly. All the items arrived at random order (our appetizers arrived way after we had gotten our sushi & eaten it) & same happened with the dessert on our last round of orders. The atmosphere was very loud. Unfortunately we did not like this restaurant. Kanda is better.

Maybe this placed used to be good? We went for supper & were the only 1 out of 3 tables there. The food was coming out really fast. A little fast. It was obvious that many of the dishes had been pre cooked & warmed to order. Nothing was fresh at all. Their sushi was mediocre. The sashimi was good however. Otherwise the staff are very nice. It's a shame the food was subpar however. Especially when you're paying 50$/person.
My one negative comment. It is too cold in this restaurant!!! Is that a tactic to ensure people don't stay too long? It's really not a comfortable temperature. Temperature aside, the food is really good. Excellent sashimi. I went for dinner & also for lunch & was pleased to see that the food was just as good at lunch as it was at dinner. The only item I ordered that really wasn't great was the sauteed veggies. It was basically a plate of bean sprouts with 3 small pieces of broccoli. Overall, I'd go back to this place next time I was all you can eat sushi.
Big foodie here I've been to thousands of restaurants all over the world. This was probably one of the worst AYCE sushi I've ever been to, especially for the price. Many of the items contain ingredients not usually found in sushi. Even the miso soup was below par. The calamari was the worst i ever had. On a positive note, the service was decent, the sashimi was good, & the place was clean & had nice atmosphere. Would not recommend nor return.
