Offering a refreshing, contemporary, and all-vegan Japanese cuisine, Sushi Momo is a sophisticated twist from traditional Japanese sushi. With 10 years of experience, chef Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre opened Sushi Momo in December 2014, and has been getting much praise from day one. Christian's creations are both enjoyable and extremely creative. Christian wanted to give Montrealers the most options for vegan sushi in the entire city.

Sushi Momo is one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. I recommend the Omakase 4-course set menu (49$) if you're overwhelmed by all the sushi options (as we were) - that way, you get to try a bit of everything! It's definitely worth the extra 5$ on the set menu to get the mushroom tartare, which was one of the highlights of our meal. You'll get 12 pieces of sushi of many different varieties. The set menu portions were perfect - we were satiated but not stuffed. In addition to creative & aesthetic plant-based sushi, they also have a beautifully crafted cocktail menu. The vibe is intimate & cozy. The staff are friendly, & the service is timely. The prices are not cheap, but pretty standard for a nice sushi restaurant. I do recommend booking a table as it can get quite busy!

Merci pour cette agréable soirée ! Nous étions neuf, le service était rapide & impeccable. Le plateau de sushis était généreux & délicieux. Un grand merci aux serveuses pour leur sourire constant du début à la fin.
Vraiment excellent ! Ces sushis végétaliens sont travaillés, les saveurs se bousculent en bouche sans jamais créer une cacophonie mais plutôt une symphonie à déguster. Beau travail du chef pour la création du menu & le plateau de dégustation est parfait pour les indécis comme moi. Petite réserve sur le dessert qui laisse sur une note un peu moins excellente que le reste du repas. L'ambiance est très cozy & zen. N'oubliez pas de réserver !
A new Montreal favourite. This was insanely delicious. Some of the best sushi I've had in my life (I'm not vegan or vegetarian). - The Gyu tempura roll was amazing - The roll with capers on it was my favourite. Holy cow it's so good. Make a reservation 1 week in advance !! 10 pieces of sushi each was enough for us. The service was amazing. The waiter just asked how many rolls we wanted & chose for us. He chose really well. The dessert is pretty good, but not amazing. It was $36 for 10 large pieces of sushi & dessert.
Best food experience ever. We are not vegan & we enjoy every piece of the degustation menu. The team was very nice & happy to answer any questions. Book before heading there & Enjoy!
One of the best spots in Montreal for vegan sushi!!!! Everything we ordered including the drinks were top notch. Every type of sushi we ordered was tasty, flavorful, perfect portions. We couldn't stop eating. The service is amazing & our server was friendly & attentive. Will definitely go back again & again. Perfect spot for intimate dinner. I hope they open a spot in Toronto. This will be my staple place in Montreal going forward!
Cela faisait un moment que je prenais à emporter mais je n'avais jamais testé sur place, & ce fut une merveilleuse expérience. La carte est un peu différente & permet de découvrir d'autres produits ! Mon compagnon n'est pas vegan & je pense que c'est devenu l'un de ses restaurants préférés. Le tartare de champignons est à tomber par terre, & tous les produits sont magnifiquement bien travaillés. Le service est très bon également. Une belle ambiance, où l'on s'entend parler ! Foncez !

Cela faisait super longtemps que je voulais aller à ce restaurant, nous avons fait plus d'une heure de trajet pour venir. L'endroit est magnifique!! Menu dégustation (2x entrés, un plateau de sushi, dessert), une belle option pour découvrir leur cuisine. La serveuse était très gentille. Pourquoi je mets si peux d'étoiles, parce que le service a été EXTRÊMEMENT long. Nous sommes arrivés à 21:30 avec réservation, des notre arrivée nous avons commandé 2x cocktail, après plus de 45 minutes... Nous n'avions rien reçu.... Cela a prit 1:15 pour avoir l'entrée #1 un, une soupe & un shooter d'huîtres. Le délais pour la 2e entrée même chose... Interminable, j'ai fini par demander à une autre serveuse si notre entré allait bientôt arrivé, l'entrée nous fût servi aussi... Le plateau de sushi fût servi relativement rapidement en comparaison aux autres plats mais ce qui était chaud ne l'était plus & il était rendu près de minuit, on n'avait plus très faim. Nous sommes sortis vers 12:45 avec une facture totale de 237$ (avant pourboir). J'étais avec mon amoureux & nous avons fais le choix de passer une belle soirée mais en partant de la avons convenu ne plus jamais y aller car le temps d'attente était complètement exagéré. Nous n'avons pas pu apprécier réellement le menu vue les circonstances. À noter que dès le 2e entré il ne restait que 3-4 tables dans le restaurant. Lorsque les sushi on été servi il n'en restait que 2 qui mangeait leur dessert. Vraiment déçu!
Started off with a miso soup that had the perfect amount of saltiness & umami flavor. Subsequently had two different types of rolls that were extremely delicious & tasted very fresh. The atmosphere inside felt very cozy with nice warm lighting. The bilingual staff were very nice. Downsides: the price - but that is to be expected since this restaurant is a little bit more upscale. Also, they only give you five rolls. Felt like the portions could've been a bit bigger. If I find myself in Montreal again, I will not hesitate to come here again.

The food was good, but the portions of the entree & dessert were way too small. Small bowl for the miso soup. I'm not expecting a huge bowl but a bit bigger. The desserts omg the brownie was so small, it was like the size of a quarter, & the sorbet too. It tasted good, though the sushi platter was great. My biggest complaint is what I mentioned above about the portion size
