Offering a refreshing, contemporary, and all-vegan Japanese cuisine, Sushi Momo is a sophisticated twist from traditional Japanese sushi. With 10 years of experience, chef Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre opened Sushi Momo in December 2014, and has been getting much praise from day one. Christian's creations are both enjoyable and extremely creative. Christian wanted to give Montrealers the most options for vegan sushi in the entire city.

Absolutely delicious food. Probably some of the best sushi I have ever tasted. I usually eat fish, & am a big fan of sushi, so I was not sure that a restaurant serving exclusively vegan sushi would be for me. Boy was I wrong. It seems like you can order anything & it will be delicious! The service is nice, i'd only say that it is a bit long to get your plate but they were also very busy both times I have gone. The atmosphere is cozy, it's not too loud. I'd highly recommend this place for a date or a celebration!View more

This restaurant was highly recommended to us by a friend in NJ so we tried it. We loved the food, the experience & the service. Everything we tried was delicious. The SOS was as spicy as promised. My 13 year old enjoyed everything she tried as well. Definitely recommend. I wouldn't miss it if you are vegetarian or vegan!View more

The restaurant looks nice inside. I do not know about the food since they did not have anything I wanted - did not realize it was vegetarian sushi. When i found out during ordering, I decided to leave. They wanted to charge me for the water.View more

The food was ok, not that good enough but average. There is a plate with salamon slices, it was 40 grams plus some vegetables & sauce for 15$. The sushi was good, & the staff were nice. Non alcoholic Beverages are so terrible, just kind of arom added to iced water. My main complaint is about those chairs in the bar, for god's sake, who is the architect who decided to put kids garden chairs into a bar. Im 174 cm tall. i found it really annoying to sit. I was really pressed & blocked between the table & those fixed chairs! When asked the server if there was any place to sit, she told us there were no tables. In the end, when we finished our meal, she told her there was an available.View more

Got lucky with a spot on the patio on a Friday night. Service was wonderful, staff were excited to present each item. Service was not quick but felt like a good pace to enjoy the different options. Everything was delicious, though many options feel like they are packing a lot of different flavours into a single roll. All in all we had a great time & would recommend this to anyone looking for good plant based options. We previously (2021) tried this restaurant as take-out & would recommend eating at the restaurant over take-out!View more

This is one of the best places to eat Sushi overall. Taking Vegan sushi to another level with incredibly better tastes than original Non-Vegan one. Great starters offering as well (Miso Soup, Soba Mango Salad, Mushroom Tartare...) It became our ritual every time we visit Montreal!View more

My friend & I ordered from sushi Momo last night, as there was a deal on Uber eats, & never having tried it before I was interested. I had no idea it was vegan until our order came. Let me tell you, this was the most delicious meal I've had in a long time. I'm a die hard sushi lover, but this meal had me rethinking my love for fish, as it what so delicious being completely vegan. The variety of rolls I got, the flavour combinations & quality left us speechless! The Miso soup was also fantastic. 110% recommend & will be returning.View more

Before I visited here I heard many good things but this place was so much better than what I was expecting. The restaurant itself is stunning. So natural & beautiful. A earthy & simple vibe which relaxed me but when the food started coming it was anything but simple. The flavours were so complex & I could tell that so much effort went into each dish, each sushi roll & everything we were served. The presentation was amazing & the service was great. I was very impressed & I think I will need to stop in here on every trip I make to Montreal because this place was heaven!View more
