Offering a refreshing, contemporary, and all-vegan Japanese cuisine, Sushi Momo is a sophisticated twist from traditional Japanese sushi. With 10 years of experience, chef Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre opened Sushi Momo in December 2014, and has been getting much praise from day one. Christian's creations are both enjoyable and extremely creative. Christian wanted to give Montrealers the most options for vegan sushi in the entire city.

Bonnes portions, le tartare de champignons & les arancinis comme entrée étaient parfaits, on a adorés les sushis & la poire pochée était à en tomber par terre. Seule déception le momochoco en dessert; beaucoup trop gras & riche à mon goût! Aussi, ils ne semblent pas respecter la nouvelle loi sur les pourboires, car le tip en pourcentage que j'ai laissé sur la machine à été calculé sur le montant avec taxe, & non le montant avant taxe comme la loi le stipule.View more

You can't forget the taste of sushi you will eat here. I tried Umami & Mezze. I liked Mezze more, with the great decoration of tasty crispy fried leak & the hummus on the top.
I've tasted Momochoco, from my friend's dessert dish. Absolutely recommended, even if you don't like dark chocolate.

Stunning, exceptional dining experience! We had the $55 Table d'hôte with a mocktail. The mocktails had so many complex, fine ingredients they were a tastebud's delight! Beautiful as well. Every single dish & piece of veggie sushi was an incredible culinary treat...flavourful & beautiful at the same time. The service is well trained.& professional, second to none. The ambiance was energetic & enjoyable, although bring your cell phone flashlight to see the menu if you dine late, as they dim the lights around 8pm. We dine out often & have rarely had a dining experience that matches the excellence of Momo.View more

Went here with four people & had the omikase. Flavours were great, I love mushrooms & that came through really well. Atmosphere is nice & cosy & provided a great environment to catch up.
Appetizers were great, soup was great, dessert was fine, & the sushi was good. But as a non-vegetarian it does not serve as a replacement for sushi. The flavours are great & they have some really interesting fusions, but most of the rolls rely on sauces to get their flavour. That's ok, & they taste good, but they are heavier & not equivalent for standard sushi.
This is solid vegan food in a nice setting, but it is not a sushi replacement.View more

I have been to this location twice
1. I went there for my birthday dinner & the meal took 50 minutes to come out, but the food was phenomenal!! Told them it was my birthday & they still charged us for dessert, which was fine but still shocking.
2. Went there a few weeks later & the service had immensely improved! Our server was very kind & attentive & the sushi came out within 15! The vegan sushi here is all phenomenal. The kamikaze Salmon was my favorite!!View more

Was recently there for my wife's birthday. We had 2 appetizers & 4 different sushi rolls.
For apps we had Agedashi Tofu, Tataki (soy steak) & for sushi we had Kamikaze, Croque Madame, Mr. Croquent & Fried Avocado. Everything was amazing but the Tataki was the star of the night.

Meilleurs restaurants a Montréal tout est absolument délicieux.Cette avis est lors de notre première visite il y a environ un an .
Malheureusement nôtre visite de cette semaine nous a vraiment déçu.
Le service était exécrable nous sommes arrivés a 17 h & nous avons avisé que nous avions un spectacle 2 hr pour souper devrait être suffisant.Nous avons attendu 1 hr 30 pour être servi. Finalement nous n avons pas manger & on a demandé de préparer nos sushi pour apportez. La serveuse nous a apporté les plats & nous a dit de le faire nous même, le temps qu'elle prépare la facture 250$ wow c'est super!!! Quel mauvaise expérience ci seulement la serveuse c était montré un peu désolé de la situation mais non aucun mots aucun commentaire.Nous n avions pas le temps d argumenté alors nous sommes partis avec une tres grande déception.
Ce qui était mon restaurant favoris est devenu un endroit pour lequel nous n'avons plus aucun intérêt

Malheureusement les faits exposés ne sont pas exact nous sommes arrivés 7 minutes en retard
Il n y avait quasiment personne dans le restaurant.
Un groupe est arrivé une bonne demi-heure après nous & a toute les fois que je voyais de gros plateau je me disais c'est prêt c'est pour nous.
& bien non les plateaux ont tous été pour la grande table derrière,le groupe qui est arrivé 30 minutes après nous .
Je comprends très bien que la préparation est exigeante mais désolé cette soirée là il y a eu sérieux problème a la préparation & au service.
C'est triste mais un restaurant qui a du succès perd souvent en qualité.
On appelle ça le succès qui monte à la tête.View more

First off, this place serves vegan sushi. I went here for my birthday dinner & you really need a reservation. We ordered the omakase, which comes with your choice of appetizers/dessert & the chef's choice of sushi. It's a cozy little place & everything was absolutely delicious.
Don't expect those small makis with just cucumber or avocado, these are rolls full of different ingredients that mixes texture & flavor that taste so good together. They also made a vegan version of salmon made of konjac & I really enjoyed that too. The service is impeccable & the atmosphere is super lovely. & if you've eaten at other sushi places, the price is pretty reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.View more
