I've noticed a sharp decline in quality lately. I've ordered delivery from here many times because it's always been a great value-for-price, but my last couple of orders have been disappointing. The rolls have been arriving in poor shape , falling apart, & they've switched to imitation wasabi.

-- Update April 2026 --

What happened with this place? Today was one of the worst sushi I had in Montreal. Rice had no taste (imagine your rice cooker rice), soya sauce was watery & the owner response was « this is all we have ». AVOID, I will not be back. Sad for a place that use to be my goto.

I have eaten all u can eat in more than 50 different locations in North America & I can say this is the best one.
Food: rolls were very good but the sushi/sashimi were the real highlight! The quality of the salmon is excellent, fresh & the presentation is super nice.
Service: super friendly staff, they sit you quickly & are very responsive
Mobile app: you order on your phone, the app is sync between everybody on the table, if someone adds to cart, everybody get a notification

*EDIT REVIEW 2026*

''All Good things come to an end''
I have to update my review to give it a big fat 1 star. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

What I experienced & ate yesterday was not what I had back when I made my review. The service was non existent, missing orders, lack of details to the dishes & attempts at replicating flavors...

The'Wasabi mussels' did not taste like wasabi & more like pesto mussels. I have reasons to believe management/ownership was changed & the new owners took a quick look at the pictures & tried to replicate the recipes. The'Beef Tataki' had a similar spice blend to the first time I went but lacked the shallots to give it flavors. We could not even tell the difference between the beef & tuna tataki (see pictures)

What I had was not'Sushi Hin' but a TEMU version of it.

This is going to be our last time here. Good bye

One of the best sushi AYCE I've been in a while. The service, quality & choices of food is unmatched against other competitors in the area & in montreal. There is AYCE tuna sashimi!! WOW

I was a bit disappointed by the food quality.
All the tataki were super cold (the beef was a bit icey & the salmon felt like it was old).
The nigiri fish to rice ratio was off.
On another note the service was super friendly & fast, you can tell they are having a good time as a team.
Worth trying out, but not for me.

I ordered online & was pleasantly surprised that my food was ready in about 5 minutes 😅 Even though it wasn't peak hour, it's always nice to get such quick service.
The receptionist was very friendly & welcoming. I ordered the COMBO H1 ($20.95) with California, Kamikaze, & salmon sushi, & the quality was really good for the price. Everything tasted fresh & I really enjoyed it.
Thank you to the team for the quick service & great food!

Terrible place. Bad service. Keep an eye out for the salmon quality. Dirty place, dirty kitchen. Management running a circus.

To the young servers, change jobs.

Great spot in the West Island area. Since the new ownership, the quality of food & service both improved dramatically. Loved the special menu items that you don't see in other sushi places. Very fast service & extremely polite staff. Will come again!

This used to be my favorite restaurant for all-you-can-eat sushi. Unfortunately, on my last two visits, the quality has declined. I went back Saturday night. I have to say that, for the second time in a row, the sushi was disappointing. The maki were poorly rolled & kept falling apart. They use way too much rice. You can tell sushi is pre-rolled when the tempura isn't crisp anymore. To be sure, I ordered a handroll, which can't be made in advance. My handroll was fresh. The nori seaweed was crispy, & so was the tempura, but there was really too much rice. One of the reasons I always go back to this restaurant is for the kitchen dishes. Yesterday, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The service is very fast, admittedly, but I prefer to wait a bit & be served hot. Some of our fried dishes were cold, like the fried scallops, takoyaki, & tempura. My favorite dish at Hin is the lamb skewers. Yesterday, they used too much seasoning, & the second portion I ordered underneath was burnt. I usually come on weekends. I find it's better during the week, perhaps because they're less busy & take the time to prepare orders properly. Overall, the service is always good. The servers always make sure our water glasses are refilled & consistently clear our plates. Hopefully they will improve the quality of the food back.

Absolutely amazing experience at Sushi Hin. The quality of the fish was top-tier-fresh, well-cut, & full of flavor. The all-you-can-eat menu has great variety & everything came out fast & consistent, even when the place was busy.

Service was attentive & professional, & the staff made sure we were always taken care of. The tuna tataki & sashimi were standout items, easily some of the best I've had. For the price, you really get your money's worth.
