Hidden Fish is my all time favourite sushi restaurant in Montreal! I’ve tried so many places & none compare in the slightest. The sushi is ALWAYS fresh & the taste is unreal. I’ve never tried a bad roll of sushi, no matter what I get. The service is always amazing, & the atmosphere is just beautiful & peaceful. Overall, this will always be my favourite sushi in Montreal & I always recommend everyone to try it.
The food was amazing. However my dad spilled his beer & had to ask for a replacement. The second beer also appeared on the bill. For $7 on an $800+ bill, the right thing to do would have been to remove the extra beer. Poor customer service.
Was the best sushi we have ever had. The freshness of the sushi was beyond. The fish literally melted in our mouths. The waiter was super attentive & suggested the perfect amount of plates for us to share, his suggestions were also all amazing! Will definitely be returning there soon.

highly recommend the nigiri. we also ordered the salmon roll & a tuna tataki roll. the salmon was a bit on the sweeter side personally but still good. the lychee martini is also good
First time eating here & it was a great experience from the food, the friendly service & the atmosphere. We were late to our reservation & they still took us no problem which was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be coming back.

As for the culinary delights, the sushi surpassed all expectations & left an indelible impression. The 24-piece premium sashimi platter was a true masterpiece, showcasing a remarkable assortment of impeccably fresh, high-quality fish. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that transported you to a realm of gastronomic delight.

It was my first time at Hidden Fish & heard so much good reviews about it that I decided to treat my boyfriend for his birthday. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the food was, it ruined a lot of sushi places for us & the service was impeccable. Wilson, our waiter, knew what he was talking about. He recommended us a saké that pairs well with what we ordered as sushi & let me tell you, he did not disappoint at all. He was well versed & great at explaining what the dish was. I highly recommend having him as your waiter, if ever you decide to go there. The staff was great! The experience overall was amazing.
My experience at this sushi restaurant was highly disappointing. From the moment we sat down, we felt pressured to rush our order, even though we wanted to take our time & enjoy the dining experience. What baffled me even more was when I inquired about keeping the menu to possibly order more later, I was told that they were concerned about people getting water on it & would have to print another one (despite patrons spending significant amounts of money here).
The quality of the food was equally disappointing. The tuna we were served had an overwhelmingly fishy taste, rendering the rolls inedible. When we brought this issue to the waiter's attention, the manager's response was disheartening. Instead of addressing our concerns, we were told that everyone else seemed to be enjoying it that night, & we were left with no option but to tough it out.
Overall, this dining experience left a lot to be desired. The rushed service, unwillingness to accommodate a simple menu request, & the poor quality of the food, along with the dismissive attitude from the manager, made it a regrettable visit…

We had an amazing dining experience at Hidden Fish. Our waiter (Mattew) was informative & very personable. He guided us through the menu & made several excellent suggestions. We would highly recommend Hidden Fish to any sushi lover.
