Nigiri: Our server Mathieu recommends three kinds of nigiri for us. All of them are excellent. We will come back because of Nigiri.
Maki:
1. Hidden fish maki is excellent for my husband, but I feel a bit greasy because of the foie gra. If you like foie gra, this is the best for you.
2. End with Maki Oishii is fresh. It comes with vege, salmon & wrapped with rice paper. Its seasoning is delicious.
The food was absolutely amazing, really great. Unfortunately the service did not match up, we went there for my partner's birthday to which I informed them twice, but unlike other restaurants, they didn't do anything special. Anyway, the service was still bad & unengaging, I barely spoke with the server & we only felt'welcomed' after we tipped them very well & left. Please stop judging how much you'll be tipped & start providing good service equally to everyone. Due to the service, I would not recommend for any special occasion unless you're looking for a quick sushi bite.
Super belle expérience chez Hidden Fish ! Le décor est vraiment magnifique & le service était incroyable. Tout le monde était tellement gentil & attentionné. Ils ont pris le temps de bien nous conseiller & de nous expliquer les plats en détail.
& la nourriture, WOW !Tout était délicieux. J'ai rarement mangé d'aussi bons sushis !

Quiet spot, top-notch fish.
Service is amazing-lots of servers so you're always looked after, yet it's wonderfully quiet. They explain the menu clearly, & the fish is fresh. Highly recommend!
It was our first time trying it. The food was delicious & so fresh. Eric our waiter recommended delicious food & had a really nice time talking to him. The restaurant itself, is very cozy & not too loud. A definite add on to my favorites.
We visited Hidden Fish for my birthday dinner, & it was such a lovely & memorable experience. It was just my husband, our toddler son, & me, which made the evening feel extra special.
The atmosphere was beautiful, warm, & inviting. The food was absolutely excellent, especially the sushi. What really stood out was the fish-to-rice ratio-every bite was packed with fresh fish rather than mostly rice, which made the sushi incredibly enjoyable.
Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive. He took the time to explain the menu & recommended some of the restaurant's most popular dishes, all of which were fantastic.

We celebrated my wife's birthday here, & it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, & the atmosphere was simply incredible. The staff was warm, attentive, & made us feel very welcome.
The sushi was authentic, incredibly fresh, & beautifully prepared. You could truly taste the quality of every ingredient. It felt as though each ingredient had been carefully selected, & every bite reflected the care & craftsmanship that went into the food. The flavors were balanced, fresh, & absolutely delicious.

Excellent sushi spot, the best I've tried in Montreal so far.
We tried going for a'carte blanche', & the waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable & attentive, taking the time to understand our preferences. Every dish that was served was outstanding, making for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
