As good as it gets when it comes to sushi. Expect to pay $200+ pp but it is a treat. Worldwide sourcing. Incredible quality, preparation & presentation. The fermented real deal wasabi is a must. So is the uni, toro, hamachi, blue fin toro & on & on. Sit at the bar & chef Jack will guide you. Vibe inside is cozy, romantic & hip. Nice ambient back ground music. The cocktails could enjoy a better pour, but that's the only critique from me. Oh yeah, one other point: if you're from the U.S. the exchange rate is very favorable. A $400 CAD tab is only $290 USD. At least at the time of this writing. Great time to drive to Montreal & enjoy this gem.

Everything is always incredibly fresh - especially the fish - & every dish is such a perfect combination of flavours, textures, & creativity. The taste is consistently amazing, & honestly, every visit reminds me why this place continues to be at the very top of my list.

& we also have to talk about the drinks, because they are a huge part of the Hidden Fish experience. Their cocktails & mocktails are absolutely amazing &, in my opinion, one of the things that really makes this place stand out. You don't have to choose between going somewhere for incredible food or somewhere for great drinks - here, you get both. They simply don't compromise on quality or taste, whether it's what's on your plate or what's in your glass.

If you're looking for an unforgettable sushi experience, this is the hidden gem you need to know about. Perfectly located right in downtown Montreal, just steps away from the Four Seasons, Hidden Fish has a truly beautiful two-floor space that makes the entire experience feel even more special.

I've been to so many restaurants across both Toronto & Montreal, & I can genuinely say with confidence that this is the best sushi I've ever tried. The quality, freshness, flavours, drinks, atmosphere, & overall experience are simply on another level.

Wow! Cool vibe inside. We sat a high top & received professional service from Ryan - he's been there since it opened, 16 years ago, & is super knowledgeable about the menu, pairing with beverages. Great sense of humor, too.
We took all of his recommendations: sake, wine & food. Absolutely a 5+ star experience! Highly recommend if you like sushi, sashimi, maki. Best way to get your omega 3's😊

Excellent. Sat at the sushi bar. Loved the atmosphere. The non-alcoholic drink options had me so intrigued I got one before my cocktail, which was also incredible. The food (flavors, textures, temperatures, presentation, ingredients) was memorable & delicious with every single course. I would go back again & again if I lived in Montreal.

One of my favorite sushi spots! The sashimi is extremely fresh & flavorful, & you can really taste the high quality of the fish. The flavors & presentation are amazing, & the service is always great. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best sushi restaurant in Montreal! The food is always fresh & delicious, & the service is impeccable. I usually ask the waiter to choose items for me based on what I like, & I'm always beyond satisfied with their selections. 100% recommend!
