Outstanding bagels. Very friendly staff. Note to international visitors: they don't take credit & they only accept debit from Canadian banks. So, bring CDN $s. For our entire week in Montreal, this is the only place I needed cash. But, it was nice to see what Canadian currency looks like these days (pretty sophisticated & intricate, with a different feeling than'paper' money)
I have to admit my visit here the other day while good was slightly disappointing. I got a half dozen sea salt & rosemary bagels which are absolutely delicious (though I expected chunks of salt on the top like I have got at other premium bagel places), however if I had to wager a guess these were made the previous day. I ordered quite early in the morning & the bagels were not even warm & didn't seem very fresh. The service was good, store was cute but sceptical if those bagels were made the day before & for the price that is unacceptable if the case
Nothing speaks of true Montréal Bagels like St Viateur. Portions are great with great service & amazing staff members. I also enjoy their ice coffee & regular coffee as well. It's definitely worth having it when visiting Montreal.

Famous Montreal bagel shop- & for good reason. Service is fast & the bagel sandwiches are exceptional.
My honest review is that this bagel chain is overhyped & not as good as people make it seem online. I came in with high expectations based on everything that's been said about this spot & I am convinced that people just force themselves to like it. Its really not good or not special. Its extremely bland & every bite is not magical. Its mid at best. You can take this review with a grain of salt but try it & see for yourself if its worth all the hype online. Not to mention we waited like 30 mins to be seated inside. I would SKIP this spot if you're in Montreal.
Délicieux bagels de Montréal, il faut en emporter beaucoup en partant ! On en trouve aussi dans certains supermarchés.
During my trips to Montreal I always make sure to stop here either for a dine in or take out of Montreals best bagel shop. Their breakfast combo is always up to par as the best most tasty breakfast bagel experience. & nothing beats a Montreal style bagel in the morning with a Americano coffee
This was the best bagel I ever had in my life !!! So delicious & definitely a must try. They are quite pricey though. We got 2 bagels & a smoothie which was about $50. Definitely worth it
Not a big bagel guy but came in with an open mind & both my wife & I were supper happy with the service & flavour of the bagels we chose. Staff was knowledgeable & guided us through the order based off our taste buds & we were definitely satisfied. Recommended if visiting Montreal!
Got the Traditional on a sesame bagel. Great sandwich spot but seating is limited & they start to hover & stare to get people in & out (which is fair to service more people but a bit awkward when you're eating).
Le personnel très accueillant & courtois, le jeune homme au comptoir m'a demandé si je voulais mes bagels chaud & j'ai dit oui ouï, on m'a jamais demandé ça dans un autre établissement de bagels, c'est un plus pour les bagels st Viateur, c'est lès meilleures!!! Mmmm
