Bagels were excellent. Odd that they dont take credit card. Huge NYC bagel fan..dont expect the same, but theyre amazing in their own way!

Don't fuss about the long lines on the weekend, it moves very fast. The bagels are delicious! I had the traditional, which was amazing. The cream cheese is super creamy. The service is spectacular, they easily accommodated our family of six. We will be back!! Merci!!
A must when in Montreal. I got the salmon & capers which was recommended to me, it wasn't my preference but I wasn't mad! They have lots of options & different bagels, came by early for a less busy experience

As a devoted acolyte to the divine altar of the bagel, I relish the opportunity to take the pilgrimage to St. Viateur Bagel & Café. This sacred journey culminates in the divine experience of savoring their heavenly bagels, where each bite is a taste of perfection. They emerge fresh from the traditional wood oven & warm not just my body but my spirit. There is no smell like that of the boulangerie, no taste like the sweet bagel, & no solace like a bag of warm bagels from St. Viateur.
Montréal style bagels aren't my preference to be honest I much prefer New York style, BUT I won't give anything but 5 stars for the service super quick welcoming friendly & watching the staff hard at working making these bagels made me appreciate them more ! The in house cream cheese is good but hear me out ... you cannot skip this local one it's unreal better than any brand I've tried before
Felt like the staff was more trying to get through their orders than actually putting some effort into their bagels. This huge chunk of onion was in my bagel not even the end of it being cut off where to root was attached. The cream cheese was only spread on one side which made it go everywhere from the amount they put in. Spread it on both sides in my opinion would easily resolve the huge mess that came with the bagel. Friendly staff! Everything was freshly made, you can see the bagels being made in front of you & put in their bagel oven so you know it's fresh. Huge line for an ok bagel. Also make sure you have Canadian cash or Canadian debit card only. They don't accept visas. 2023 surely with the amount of business this place is generating they can afford to pay for credit card service.
Best smoked salmon cream cheese bagel I've ever had. Please try with the rosemary bagel! I would come back to Montreal just for that bagel 🤤. I was pleasantly surprised to see sides with the bagels (pickles for the smoked meat & some melon slices for every bagel). The staff were kind. They also had merchandise for sale. I bought a T-shirt :)
Ordered bagels set with customized flavors, & luckily the blueberry flavor just came out of the oven! So amazing the texture! Please try the fresh one if you get a chance! Even bought a jar of salmon sauce! So happy experience! Also the staff here are all friendly!
Les bagels sont très bons mais plutôt cher, service à emporter assez rapide mais les options de paiements sont assez étrange (accepte cash en USD & CAD, mais pas de carte de crédit).

Inévitablement les meilleurs bagels de Montréal. Ici vous pouvez les acheter à emporter, ou consommer sur place les différentes recettes. Elles sont toutes bonnes , on est devenu accroc. Toute l'équipe est gentille & serviable. Les tartinades sont bonnes aussi. Mes pains préféré sont sel & romarin ou sésame.
