Always grab some smoke meat at Pete's on my way home & when traveling through Montreal ... What a spot great meat & awesome atmosphere in the restaurant if you are sticking around for a meal ... I was on the move so bringing some to my family in Nova Scotia.

You have to love the atmosphere here especially if you love live music. There are times for them but very cool if you like that. Menu is limited as it should be. It's made for a small niche & it caters to that very well. You can't miss it next to the highway & any time you're in the mood for smoke meat, it's worth the trip.

First time here, from out of country. Recommended by a local friend, & I truly loved it. It was described as the best smoked meat, & it lived up to the expectation. Amazing smoked meat; good flavor, good texture, moist & tasty. Incredible ambience. Only down was I did not come on a night of live music which I saw the stage for. I really must come back to enjoy that, & especially get more smoked meat. I also enjoyed the poutine.

L'anniversaire de mon mari était samedi. Nous avons eu la chance de le fêter dans ce merveilleux restaurant. Nous avons tout adoré : la cuisine délicieuse, l'ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale, & la musique formidable. Merci beaucoup pour cette soirée !

A must visit for leaving or entering Montreal. Great smoked meet & fries, great coleslaw & poutines. Great for take out. Can get busy do get there early.

Le meilleur smoke meat sandwich que j'ai mangé! Ce restaurant est une institution! Surtout si vous passez par là arrêtez-vous. L'ambiance, le décor, le service, tout y est pour passer un bon moment. Moment. Ils offrent une multitude de plats, pas seulement l'assiette smoke meat. Tout à l'heure, fait sur place, c'est délicieux!!
