Je vous recommande le spécial de Pete. Cette assiette comprend le smoked meat, 2 pickles, salade de chou, frites & breuvage. Possibilité de demander sa viande maigre, medium ou medium-gras. Les côtes levées sont incroyables. Elles fondent dans la bouche. Le gâteau au fromage pèse au moins 1 lb. Il est consistant & super bon.
An absolute delight!
Every time I am in the Montreal area, I try very hard to pay a visit to this place. It's probably close to 15 years since I was introduced to Smoke's, & it's one of, if not my favorite place for Smoke Meat.
The service is top-notch, portion, quality, & flavor excellent.
For myself, it's also very convenient when I am entering or leaving the Montreal area. Next to the Dairy Queen Ice Cream Parlor, It's practically on Highway 20, which is an alternative, more scenic route to take.
This time, I also tried the ribs. & they were an excellent choice as well.
Also, the atmosphere is great although I had take out, this place was popping, filled with excitement, both with a lively patrons & a very friendly staff. It's also equipped with a cover patio for the warmer climate, I'm guessing. The structure, furniture, & paraphernalia are filled with character & a certain quaint, cozy popping atmosphere.
Live band in the evening, night.
This is definitely a nice place to put on your hit list of places to eat.

& another recommendation: get the 1lb special to go (cold), this is to enjoy when you get back to Toronto.
It's about $35 with all the fixings.

Ich war als Tourist dort und es ist genau was ich mir erhofft habe. Ich habe nach einem Roadhouse gesucht, dass halbwegs gutes Essen macht und einfach ein stereotypisches Ambiente bietet. Diese Erwartung wurde bei weitem übertroffen! Das Essen war so gut, dass wir zu viert gleich mehrfach bestellt haben. Die Spareribs sind mehr als empfehlenswert! Dazu kommt eine super passende Jazz Musik, eine wundervoll passende Einrichtung und ein super netter Service. Daher von mir sehr verdiente 5 Sterne.
Best smoked meat anywhere around Montreal hands down. This place is my all time fave. 👌
So the atmosphere was great...cant image how it would be when the band was playing. Very casual..
Food was a little overpriced but so is everything today but it made up for in taste. Had a poutine & a smoked meat spaghetti. Fortunately the spaghetti was 2 for 1.
best smoked meat I've ever tasted, hands down. you really can't beat pete's meat ;) fries are also exceptional, i think they are double fried
C'est très cher. J'imagine que ça dépend c'est qui le cuistot. J'ai demandé & payé pour un extra fromage pour ma poutine. Mais il n'y avait presque pas de différence. Pas tant de smoke meat non plus. Ça coûter 35$ 0_o
