Tastes exactly what you expect. Quality smoke beef. Could use maybe a bit of extra flavour but that might be my old age. You go in, stand up & order first. If they're not busy they'll serve you after. They had all the fixins'. Priced fair.
You can't beat Pete's meat! Stopped by on New Year's Eve for a quick smoked meat sandwich before hitting the road, & it did not disappoint.
The place had tons of Christmas decorations up, which made for a really cozy vibe. The atmosphere is always fun with live blues on stage, & the staff & owner were so friendly the owner even invited us to their NYE party (so sweet!).
Ordering is simple: you head to the counter, pay, & then grab a wooden table. I went for the smoked meat with fries, pickle, & coleslaw yummm absolutely delicious. If you like it lean, it's a couple bucks more, but I personally love it the classic way.
They even bring a little starter of hot dog, liver, bread, coleslaw, & butter. & I finally tried the ribs this time - wow! Super tender, sweet, & packed with flavor. Highly recommend them.
Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

This place might be known for its smoked meat sandwich but the ribs is where it's at. Great menu with mouth watering options (& amazing portions too!). The service is very impressive as well.
Great smoked meat, truly a classic place. A must go. Old style blues themed smoke house. A little pricey but definitely worth it, especially after some long hours on the road.

67$ pour deux combo gros smoked méat, un médium fat très bon, par contre le deuxième combo demandé mince & maigre ils ont chargé 6$ de plus pour l'avoir ! Première fois de ma vie qu'on me charge extra pour mince & maigre, il était maigre mais très épais. 92$ avec le pourboire, première expérience & dernière fois pour nous…
Came across this gem while on the way to the east. We got poutine & smoked meat sandwiches & they did not disappoint. The smoked meat was tender & flavourful & packed. Absolutely enjoyed every bite & will definitely be back.
Sehr leckeres smoked meet im echt coolen Ambiente. Man sollte auf jeden Fall Zeit mitbringen, da erst bestellt und gezahlt wird. Erst dann bekommt man einen Platz. Dementsprechend ist auch eine lange Schlange beim Eingang.
I'm from MTL & driving to Iles Perrot for Smoke meat is so worth it. You can't beat it. Nothing comes close. Absolutely the best! The meat is so juicy & flavorful. Plus if you're lucky you get to enjoy a great band while dining in.
