Been going here for years & its always been a top spot in my heart for their smoke meat. Their is a couple a amazing spot for smoke meat in Montréal but I would have to say this is close to or if not the best in my opinion in Montréal. Highly recommend trying once & if you can try to go when they have a LIVE MUSIC. 👌🤌View more

Great food, delicious but it is so expensive. Smoked meat sandwiches are to die for, the size is too small for the price. Yes you get alot of smoked meat, but the portion is small for the price. Doors going in are confusing but follow your nose. Menu is intricate for only english speaking tourists but the lady helping with the orders is helpful & friendly.View more

Une viande excellente qui fond dans la bouche & des frites croustillantes, nous nous sommes régalés.
Il s'agit d'une place avec une vraie identité & une ambiance familiale.
L'endroit est quelque peu petit mais ça ne joue pas sur l'expérience. Live band un peu bruyant par contre mais très sympa quand même! Je recommande vivement.View more

Smoked Meat Pete's is, frankly, not possible to beat! The food is amazing! The staff is incredible! The chill atmosphere is unbeatable! It hits top drawer on every conceivable point. There is not a casual, chill place that I would give a better review to... & I'm an old man who has been in 48 states, 9 provinces, 2 territories & 42 countries. Can you get a better smoked turkey somewhere else in the world? Yeah... but if you are looking for a chill & super cool place to chow down on a classic smoked meat, fries, pickle, etc..... it's bloody true, mate;'You can't beat Pete's meat!' Go there! Eat! Drink! If you play an instrument or can sing.... jam! I've been to many, many, many amazing places... & Pete's isn't the absolute best... but It's up there!View more

I went to SMP with my grandmother to pick up food for a family event. My grandmother is elderly & has dementia & my family takes turns caring for her. At the window, I asked my grandmother if she needed water while we waited since it might be a while (as the order was large). The angel working at the cash had someone bring her a chair that was easy for her to sit on, & gave her a water, as well as an ice cream on the house. She also directed me to where to sit while we waited. This is the kind of kindness that provides a little bit of relief & a lot of comfort. The service is just above & beyond. Wow! The smoked meat is amazing. Seating is crowded but it needs to be because it was so busy on Monday. Adds to the vibe. Wonder how crowded it would be on a live music night? Be worth it I think!View more

I was disappointed with the lunch we had. The smoke meat was good on its own, but the rye bread was soggy, & the fries were greasy. When the fries come out brown instead of yellow, you know that the oil needs to be changed. Not so much here. I heard so much hype about this place, & it didn't blow us away. I think they try to serve customers too fast, so the quality gets affected.View more
