I came with my family from Ottawa to get smoked meat. We just wanted to get a take out. The Shawrrtz is making us disappointed with dry, dry, & tasteless meat! But meat from this place made us believe in Montreal Smoky meat again! The waiter told us the food will be ready in 10 min though, but it took us 45 min to get our food! I was prepared to go for 1 star, but when I tasted the food, I changed my mind! Omg what a good tasting smoke meat! Juicy, spicy & delicious! I could feel that black pepper in my month & the taste of Master omg was amazing! 👍 job guys, but you can do better!
Don't believe the hype !! The quality of the meals & the abilities of the staff have definitely been dropping recently. The prices were more reasonable.. they are now charging more.. While having live music is potentially wonderful.. For some reason the much more talented musicians no longer seem to play here. I think this restaurant is riding on its reputation & that reputation is no longer deserved. My last visit in July had myself & a friend waiting 30 minutes on a quiet day for very dry tasteless chicken. Both the food & the service was totally unacceptable. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere but the food & the service are no longer interesting.
jumbo smoked meat plate is delicious & fairly priced. The place is tight, order at the counter then seat yourself. The menus switches between French & English.

Great place if you're in the West Island & have a craving for smoke meat or ribs. Ambience is very nice with a live band. Service is friendly & very nice. Relax ambience & enjoyed my visit.
Such a friendly place to spend a good time. The meat is so succulent. I tried the smoke meat, brisket, & ribs. & it was all amazing. It's especially nice when they have live music.

Nourriture excellente mais l'accueil laisse a désirer. Aucune idée comment ça marche sur place & tout ce qu'on se fait dire c'est de commander. Je sais qu'il y a du smoked meat mais c'est quoi le menu & la liqueur en fontaine était chaude & flat. Au moins le smoked meat, les frites & la salade de choux étaient excellent.
Hit & miss....but when the smoke meat is not dry, it is fabulous. Live music in the evening that is great, but not great if you want to hear your date.
I have to say that the smoked meat sandwich here is the best in Montreal. This is my absolute favorite. The ribs were amazing as well. The bbq sauce was perfect. I highly recommend eating here on your way to & from Montreal. Wow.
