Food was fantastic. Just grabbed the Pete Special or combo, so smoked meat sandwich, fries, & fountain drink. Delicious. The ordering/seating process was a bit unusual, but basically you order at the counter & find a spot, & the wait staff will bring your food to you. It was busy when we were there, so if you go with someone else, one person order while the other secures a seat. Right off the highway too, so Montreal road trips in the future will likely have a stop on the way in or out each trip!
We bought smoked meat & ribs to go. The smoked meat was delicious. We can't wait to try the ribs. The sample we tasted was excellent. The restaurant has loud blues playing for those who eat in.
This was Montréal to me. A chill atmosphere with great live rock & roll music, delicious cold beer, savory ribs & smoked meat & fun people of all ages rocking out. I was so happy my friends took me here as I was transported back in time to the band's energetic renditions of the Stones & incredible bands of that era
I think the smoke meat here is better than Schwartz. Conveniently located & love the live music in the evening. I stop every time I'm in Montreal
Delicious smoked meat sandwiches, had a live band playing which was alittle too loud for our taste, but other people were really enjoying themselves. The owner came out to give our kids a free ice cream, very nice touch
I tried it for the first time last year & since then it became my absolute favorite smoke meat place. Usually you'll have to make a line to order food but it totally worth it. Mayybe the only thing is that the last time the restaurant was too loud & I was having issues to listen the 2 person that were with me in the same table, we were almost yelling.
Food was incredible well worth the trip well worth the money atmosphere the restaurant looks fantastic people are very nice definitely a hotspot totally recommended
It's a nice cozy place our server went above & beyond for us. & I must say for the first time in my life that I've seen mustard as one of the main staples on the table like the salt & pepper you would in a restaurant. The food was so delicious, I'll definitely be eating there again if & when I ever get the chance to.
