Reviews of Shushuto Bar à Ramen + Tapas describe a stylish, welcoming spot offering generous portions of ramen, sushi, bao and other Japanese fusion dishes, with standout items like creamy cheese udon, duck mazemen and a strong cocktail program; the menu's variety including vegan options appeals to many, and the atmosphere is praised as chic, cozy and lively, though the space can be loud and service occasionally slow; overall the restaurant is regarded as a top pick for inventive Japanese fusion in town, with friendly staff, quality ingredients and well executed dishes, while some guests note expensive prices and a few inconsistent plates that aren't to everyone's taste.
Moi & mes amies avons adoré notre expérience. Notre serveur Louis nous a donné un excellent service! Il nous a très bien conseillé pour les cocktails & nourriture. Nous allons certainement retourner à ce restaurant.

Ramen was on point, but everything else was terribly under seasoned. The salmon tartare & chips, very bland. Chicken yakitori was underseasoned, & the dipping sauce simply didn't make sense... lemongrass? In Japanese cuisine? No. Even the edamame was underseasoned. A sprinkle of togarashi just won't cut it... you need to add salt buddy. We wanted to order more but I think we tasted enough. The only saving grace was the pork in the ramen was on par.
Get the creamy bacon lobster, it’s soo good!!
Great service, all the plates we tried tasted great & looked beautiful, drinks look amazing & open on Mondays! Bravo
Pretty dope place & excellent service. The waitress recommended us on some drinks & diner plates so far no disappointment 👌🏽. Will recommend to friends

The appetizers were amazing (vegetable tempura). the pork tonkotsu ramen was amazing however I had to keep removing at least 4 rope/cord/thread that i guess was from the pork, inside my mouth as i chewed unpleasantly. I could have asked for the food to be replaced at the first time i chewed it but didnt want to ruin my night out with my girls but i did give the comment to the waitress about it. The affogato baileys was good just prolly not for me as i found it too sweet for my taste. but hey, the hendrick's gin & tonic drink was refreshing! the service wasnt too bad too. & location wise, very nice. also, very cozy restaurant. =)
As a fan of ramen, this place is a gem. Great food, nice decor & friendly staff. Parking easy to find. I ordered a ramen & it is a delight. The broth has a lot of flavor, lot of shashui which is not usual for ramen. I am not a big fan of their noodle, not chewy enough for me.
Highlights are the sake cocktails. To label this restaurant as authentic Japanese is not accurate. It is Japanese fusion. Very loud atmosphere, impossible to hear your server & your company.
atmosphere, drinks, food all amazing. visiting from the states & it was 15/10. the highlight tho was the overall dining experience curated by the shushuto team
