J'y ai été avec mon conjoint dernièrement, nous sommes arrivé à l'ouverture, bon service à ce moment, serveuse courtoise & souriante. Par la suite, lors du repas également le service ce passait bien les plats était très bon (Sushi, ramen & gyoza), le resto a commencé a se remplir & l'ambiance était bien. Une fois notre repas terminé par contre, on dirait que nous sommes tombé dans l'oubli. Personne ne venait nous voir si vous voulions une autre consommation, un dessert, ni même l'addition. Il était difficile d'établir un contact visuel avec les autres serveur sur place occupé avec d'autre clients. Nous avons du aller voir notre serveuse directement pour lui dire que nous aimerions avoir l'addition. Elle s'est tout de même excuser poliment de nous avoir fait attendre. Sommes tout l'endroit est bien & la nourriture très bonne, mais j'ai enlever une petite étoile vu qu'il y a quand même eu quasiment 30 minutes entre le moment ou on a desservi notre table & que nous sommes aller chercher l'addition.
Excellent resto. Louis notre hôte a été extraordinaire. Tous les plats qu'il nous a suggéré étaient succulents & de belles présentations. Les pétoncles au curry & le sushi Poseidon sont deux incontournables. Meilleur Old Fashion fait avec un whiskey du Japon. Un de nos tops restaurants à Montréal.
I have tried their ramen many times & I frequently order the duck breast. A favourite! I recently tried the a avocado sushi as an appetizer which is like a melting in your mouth treat to start with. The fried checking is super tender inside & crispy but not fat...didn't really want to share that one! Next time I want to try the hot pot. It's a neighborhood place I truly love to revisit. My only concern is the loud music but it seems to be the thing in all resto these days. It's unfortunate as I feel it competes with my senses. Service is friendly!
Had excellent experience for lunch. The duck ramen & edamame were amazing as well as the cocktails. Service was first class & ambiance was very nice. Looking first to try for dinner. We will be back!
Bonjour à tous, moi & ma copine sommes allez à ce merveilleux restaurant hier soir! Je vous le recommande fortement. Un service excellent & que dire de la nourriture c'était super bon. Merci à Louis (le serveur) pour son excellent travail! Il est très professionnel & connais très bien son menu, il a su nous conseiller adéquatement pour notre première fois & nous faire passer une soirée très agréable. Nous y retournerons forcément!
The staff is better now than previous reviews stated, but the noodles didn't cut it to me as much. The ramen noodles aren't the traditional type, while the udon was over cooked. Their sauce is well made & thought out, so they are well above what you can expect in Montreal. The sushi quality & decor was also great. I'm looking forward to their brunch soufflé pancakes, which aren't common in Mtl. Their ramen tonkatsu broth was well prepared, better than the mixed instant powder or more watered down msg options we have in mtl. The carbonara was also very hearty but not overbearing.
We decided to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary here & it was a good decision. We loved the ambiance, service, & food. Everything was too good. We would recommend the salmon tartare, which is a must try. That was our favorite. Loved the udon carbonara with shrimp. It was heavy but very different with an amalgamation of japanese & italian flavors. The Sushi Roll Ooh la la was very different with a rice paper instead of Nori. Flavors were on point. We went for the oyester mushroom bao vegan option, which we felt lacked a bit of punch. The mushroom didn't feel like the star. Chicken Mezeman felt the suace was a little too sweet for our palette, but the charred flavor on chicken was mind-blowing. Our cocktail mai tai was pretty strong &, on point, loved it. Overall, it was amazing. We will definitely be back again.
Went on a thursday evening, it wasn't too crowded, I had a reservation but it wasn't full. Service was great & food was delicious. We had the spicy salmon sushi, pork bao & salmon tartare. We also tried a couple cocktails: Sakerita Frozen & Yuzu something (terrible memory, sorry). Everything was amazing!
