I've been here twice & this second time I found the service to be slightly rude. The comments & demeanour of the waiter were less than optimal.
The meal took long to receive, we received the bill while one of our items ordered was not received, & the waiter didn't think to put candles when we mentioned it was a birthday
Overall a little disappointed as we came back bcs we had a good experience the first time.

Le restaurant est très beau.
La musique était très forte par contre.
Le mazemen était correcr mais il ni avait pas assez de texture, tout était brun dans l'assiette,lechashu n'était pas grillé. J'aurais ajouter quelque chose de croustillant dans l'assiette & peut-être de la bonite pour ajouter un goût de fumé.
My partner & I came here post Valentine's Day & they still offered their valentines course! It was delicious & super fulfilling. Servers were amazing & attentive, we really enjoyed our meal. Would definitely come back to try out their other menu items!
Wow, quelle expérience culinaire ! La nourriture est excellente pour un prix plus que raisonnable. Nous nous sommes détectés à chaque bouchée. Le serveur nous a très bien expliqué le menu & conseillés. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter !
We had an absolutely amazing experience here. The ramen was some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere & service was impeccable. We also asked to be seated at the bar after our meal in which they cleared a spot with no hesitation. The servers were so warm & helpful providing an amazing experience & offering recommendations while visiting Montreal. We will be adding this to our list of must visits while in the city.

Food is alright. For the price, you expect more quality & bigger portions since the menu seems so diverse… I ordered the Karaage as an entrée & it came much smaller than expected; almost the same size of mcdo chicken nuggets. Go for the Instagram pics, not for the food. The cocktails were 11/10 tho!
We had a great time here on a Wednesday night. Vibe was super comfortable, not too loud, not too quiet. Staff was very accommodating & friendly & mains were tasty.
J'ai vraiment apprécié le Mazemen, c'était le premier que j'ai mangé & cela m'a agréablement surpris. Service impeccable & beau restaurant. Je trouve cependant les tarifs un peu élevés.
La nourriture est excellente, autant les sushis, les cocktails que les plats de udon. L'accueil est chaleureux & l'ambiance parfaite pour passer une excellente soirée entre amis!

Juste wow ! La nourriture était de très bonne qualité & explosion de saveurs dans la bouche.
Le service était impeccable !
L'est était très bon également avec de la bonne musique de lounge.
I heard great things about this place & it didn't disappoint! Everything was just perfect honestly I can't find a bad thing to say. Waitress & waiter was so nice & polite in a friendly way. Thank you so much & you'll see me again & again!
Shushuto was a great experience. The moment you step in, you notice the classy ambiance with an almost candlelight like feel.
The service was amazing. Our server explained the entire menu & answered any questions we had. I was never out of water, & all of our needs were taken care of.
The food itself was delicious. The hot stone bowl experience was definitely new to me, so I put everything in the bowl. I later learned that it was more a dipping sauce & less of a soup. I believe the best dish we tried was the Khao Soi. It was incredibly flavorful, the broth was so rich, & the meat was so tender.
Overall, this restaurant was a great experience. It's definitely a high-end date spot if that's what you're looking for.
We had a great evening at Shushuto with friends. The food was amazing (we started with fried chicken, edamame & scallops, had a bunch of delicious cocktails & ramen). Don't know what was better the food or the service (thanks Charles!). Definitely a place you want to hit up for date night or a night out with friends. Make sure to reserve because the place gets busy!
C'est souvent le même problème lors de nos visites, le service est très lent. Ce soir, nous avons eu nos plats après 1h d'attente. Certes, le restaurant était occupé mais il serait bien de nous tenir au courant. En plus, comme je n'avais pas très faim, j'ai mangé très peu de mon plat que j'ai demandé à emporter. Je l'ai oublié en partant & je suis revenue à peine 3-4 minutes plus tard pour me faire dire que le serveur l'avait jeté à la poubelle… 4 minutes. & le restaurant n'était absolument pas sur le point de fermer, donc aucune raison de ne pas le laisser de côté juste au cas où nous revenions bientôt. Bref, autour de 30$ de nourriture à la poubelle, avec aucune excuse du serveur ou bien de solution (c'est le même serveur qui m'a débarrassée, donc qui a vu que ma portion était encore presque entière). Il a juste dit « je pensais que vous n'en vouliez plus » mais pourquoi on l'aurait demandé pour emporter alors Bref. Nous sommes allés autour de 5 fois à Shushuto depuis leur ouverture. Malheureusement, toutes les fois ont été décevantes principalement pour la lenteur du service. Nous avons ce soir été très déçus du restaurant & nous n'irons probablement plus malgré que ses consoeurs (Shushu poké & Shushu thaï) ont toujours fourni un excellent service.
