I was visiting from Toronto with my husband & I went to this place which was recommended to me by a friend , the manager Kim was very welcoming & kind she was able to set a table for us even though we didn’t make reservations & our server Cyprien was very nice & helpful I even got to practice my French with him 🤓

Amazing amazing service! The owner was super nice & accommodating. The food & drinks were amazing. Vibes were amazing for brunch. Must visit when coming to Montreal!!! Highly recommend it!
My wife & I had an excellent time at Shay. This is our second time dining at Shay & like the previous time, we have nothing but great things to say. Every aspect of our evening was wonderful, from the food to the service to the valet parking outside the restaurant. Highly recommend Shay as an essential spot to check out for a Middle Eastern fine dining experience.
Delicious food, great service & lovely atmosphere! Highly recommend for a date or brunch with friends! Their bottomless mimosa is 38$. They also have a covered outdoors terrace.

A lot of of friends told us to go to Shay & I have to say they were right. It didn't disappoint.
The restaurant is beautiful. It's small & cozy but there was a great ambiance & vibe
The staff was so knowledgeable. They guided us though the menu & even offered suggestion. They were friendly & checked up on all throughout the night.
What can I say about the food...it was fresh & delicious. I enjoyed every dish we ordered.
My husband & I had a wonderful evening- celebrating our wedding anniversary- & we can't wait to return with friend

Incroyable expérience au restaurant Shay. Nous y sommes allé avec mon copain à l'occasion d'une célébration & nous en sommes sorti plus qu'émerveillé. Le service était parmi les meilleurs que nous avions reçu ainsi que le souper & les cocktails. Nous avions pris le hummus shawarma, le kebab d'agneau & le riz au safran qui étaient tous absolument succulents & hors pair. C'était également la recommandation de notre serveuse. Les portions étaient parfaites avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour un restaurant de haut niveau. Nous avons très hâte d'y retourner.
Toujours parfait 😍😍 la nourriture était excellente & le service aussi ! C'était la première fois que nous testions le brunch & c'est aussi bon que le dîner ! Je recommande fortement. Le restaurant est aussi beau que bon.
We booked the reservation 3 weeks in advance, made a note in the reservation that we are from out of town & it was a special occasion, they sat us in a cramped corner next to the dish pit, so it was very loud with crashing dishes through our meal. The waitress was nice but recommended a ton of food even though there was just 2 of us, enough food for at least 6 ppl.
The food may have been good but trying to eat that much was a horrible experience. We ordered champagne which was nice. With tip our meal was 300.00$ for 2 ppl. Which was too much for a sub par dining experience. We will not be back, & we cannot recommend Shay .

Excellent service received from our server. Great suggestions for food! Our 12 years old son wanted a Shirley Temple & our server was super accommodating. He was friendly & funny. The food was amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone & we will return.
Shay does not disappoint. It is one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like valued customers even though it was our first visit. Everything at Shay is top notch. The food & service were extraordinary. The flavours were perfectly combined & each dish was fresh & beautifully plated. 100% recommend. Shay was our favorite dinner in Montreal! The food was outstanding - so rich with flavor & well prepared.
