It has been a while since we went to Seb. He is back with a vengeance after a few mixed experiences. Happy to have returned. Have been a customer since it opened some 18 years ago. Enjoyed our food & the service very much. Merci bcp.

Absolute feast to celebrate a dear friend's milestone birthday. Super service (merci Didier), absolutely perfect wine & food pairing, each step of the 7 course meal was a delight. Special gift from Seb to the birthday girl was classy. Was here one year ago with hubby & will definitely come back. Merci, merci, merci.

Nous avons choisi la pintade il y avait un peu de gnocchi & champignons sauvages & carottes. C'était tres bon sauf la pintade était trop cuite. La serveuse était très elle était seule à servir tout le monde & elle a très bien fait ça.
The waiter was very nice & tried his best to make our stay enjoyable.
However there were quite a lot of things that didn‘t match up.
We asked for a vegetarian menu (or at least a single dish) in advance because we couldn‘t look at the menu before. When we got there they hadn‘t even started thinking about what to offer us & then quickly came up with a good but not very creative dish (noodles with mushrooms).
Even worse was how they handled the non-vegetarian order. I wanted a Filet Mignon which they hadn‘t available that night. Instead they offered me a Black Angus Filet which I ordered. The „Filet" had a huge tendon (so not really a Filet imo) that was impossible to chew or cut. I told the waiter who took my complaint to the chef who just replied that „he liked it that way"...not really how I expect a professional to react to criticism.
The worst part though was that they charged the full (Filet Mignon!) price. The piece of meat was worse even if I don‘t take the tendon into account & it wasn‘t prepared properly.
You might be more lucky than us & some of the ingredients wete actually made very well but the customer service (excpetion the waiter who tried his best) was absolutly aweful.
Wouldn‘t go here again.
Our annual visit to SEB. New renovations since our last visit made the ambience of the restaurant even more pleasant. Four Course tasting with wine pairing. Added a fifth course of Foie Gras that was delicious. Service (Lydia) was impeccable & patient & the food was fabulous. If you find yourself in the Mont Tremblant area, consider SEB for an evening to remember.
