If you are looking for night-marketesque fun, & amazing food all in one spot this is the place for you. Everything from service, decor to layout of this place is just enthralling & unique. We went as a large group & got the set menu which I highly highly recommend. Absolutely worth every dollar. The owner is friendly, casual & on top of everything. Had a booking for 8 on sunday at 7:30pm. When we entered, the place was packed with other groups. I thought the service or the food would be slow to come out but i was definitely wrong.
Our waiter was really nice, explained the food, & made sure my friend with a food allergy got a suitable replacement.
The food was a set menu for the entire group. 7 plates for 55$. Every plates was delicious, i thought I wouldn't be filled initially but i was wrong again. There was barely any downtime between plates coming in which was nice. The plates were mainly meat (chicken skewers, fried chicken, ribs, lamb, pork bao bun) which was perfect for me.
Overall, food, service & atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend going there to everybody.Voir plus

One of my favourite Montreal spots. Super well priced & great vibes. Highly recommend the pork belly bao buns, papaya salad & kueh salat (SO GOOD).
Pandan daquiri is nothing special. Satay Lager is solid.
Walk-ins unless you're a large group so the wait can be a bit during peak hours. If you're a big group, you need to do family menu, which is good value for money.Voir plus

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sataay Brothers, & I can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, Alex & his staff made us feel right at home with their attentive & friendly service. They truly go above & beyond to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience.
The food is absolutely amazing! Each dish is bursting with flavor & cooked to perfection. You can tell they use quality ingredients & put a lot of love into their cooking.
The décor & vibe of the restaurant are off the charts! It creates a warm & inviting atmosphere that makes you want to relax & enjoy your meal.
Overall, Sataay Brothers is a hidden gem that I can't recommend enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by for an unforgettable dining experience!Voir plus

Every person of the group of 23 I was part of fell in love with the place. Ecclectic decorations, outstanding service (considering we were 23 at the table & the restaurant was jammed pack), & the food... my oh my. Everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend! My personal favorite was the braised pork belly bao bun. Still can't get over how perfectly delicious it was :-) Also, they accomodated our big group without any problem, which was very much appreciated.Voir plus

Apprently groups of more than 4 don't get to choose what they want to order. I'm a big fan of Omakase & seasonal menus but this was literally the regular menu items you just don't get to choose... Food was hit or miss, bao buns & laksa are okay but that's about it. 1 drink we ordered was good the other was bad. Service was not great. After bringing up that one of the drinks tasted off I was argued with about what was wrong with it. I've been here a few years ago & it was good but wouldn't recommend it anymore. One of the best restaurants in Mtl!! The vibe, music, service, & of course the food were all amazing. Every time I go, this place never disappoints! Would highly recommend going with all your friends, the food is to die for :) We ordered the pork belly steamed buns, Kolo mee noodle soup, fried rice & pork ribs. I ate here last night with a large group, & the food was fantastic. I mentioned to the waiter that I had a gluten intolerance, & he assured me that the amount of gluten they use in the food is minimal, urging me that I would be fine. This was not the case, as I felt the effects of gluten for more than a day after. My gluten-free request was taken lightly because I did not use the word "celiac", which I would recommend using even if you are "intolerant".Voir plus

This place is always packed, even on a Tuesday night, but worth it! They don't take reservations in advance, unless it's for a group of 6 or more. The food is really good - we ordered papaya salad, karaage steam baos, chowmein, jasmine tea, chicken & shrimp skewers. Service was prompt. For dessert we had the mixed kueh platter (not too sweet but delicious). Everything was great. The atmosphere is lovely, but the restaurant felt pretty warm (we came on a summer evening in the middle of a heat wave though). I'd highly recommend this place - if you can get in.Voir plus

I was here with TheRajEats FoodiesGiveBack & the entire experience was superb. The food was so fresh & flavourful, & the dishes nicely complimented each other. Especially liked the ribs & fried rice. The cocktails were also very tasty & well balanced. The service was just as good as the food. Despite the place being absolutely packed on a Friday night, the staff was very attentive & service was timely. Highly recommend for a quick meal or a group outing.
