The food was amazing, the service awful. Is like they are hurrying you up to leave after you eat. We still were finishing the sake & the waiter already was giving the bill. No protocole & annoying timing, waiters are really push on you to pick, eat & pay fast.

I was looking for a good place to eat & decided to get some Ramen from Sansotei as the reviews were good. I had the Tonkotsu Black, the portion was great & it was really flavorful. You should try this place if you are in Sainte Catherine
One of the best ramen places I've been too. Consistent taste everytime & delicious fresh food. Always packed place which proves how good it is. I recommend the black miso ramen it's not spicy but it has a different kick with the miso broth & mushrooms.
Delicieux ramens! bonnes portions, très gouteux, service très rapide & courtois! :) Tout le personnel est très souriant! Seul bémol : peu de place pour permettre aux nouveaux client d'attendre & pour laisser les autres clients partir.
I don't know why I keep getting my hopes up for good Japanese food in Montreal. Had the black tonkotsu ramen. The broth was thin & didn't have the richness of tonkotsu broths I've had before. The mushrooms & noodles had a weird taste, like refrigerator. Pork was decent but overall the ramen lacked the complexity & richness of flavor I'm used to from better ramen I've had in NYC. Not worth the price.
Situated in the heart of Place des arts so no nearby street parking, several paid parking lots. No reservations, first come first served, entire party needs to be present to be seated. Line ups during busy hours, but they move fast. Efficient & friendly staff despite being busy. Delicious options including one vegetarian ramen. Japanese drink options like Ramune & Calpico. Fast service. Flavourful broths. Yum!
The food tasted great. The staff was Very friendly & attentive. This is a very busy establishment. Did take out both times that we made orders & both times the "add-ons" to our ramen were missing. By the time we got it back to hotel, it was too late. Besides, how are you going to tear into a bowl of ramen to make sure all the ingredients you ordered are in there. May be best to eat in person. . .
So far my favourite ramen in Mtl! The broth was flavourful & they serve a good portion of meat. The only thing I would say is, they only have pork ramen options, unlike other ramen places who also offer a chicken replacement.
