Overall, San Sebastian Cafe is described as a cozy spot with a variety of seating that makes it ideal for studying, working, or chatting with friends. The cheesecake, often with pistachio or biscoff toppings, and the coffee are highlighted as standout treats, though some reviews note price and occasional service delays. The vibe is friendly and relaxed, inviting long visits, with many praising the staff and the comfortable atmosphere while a few mentions point to cleanliness or cost as caveats.
The cheesecake was good with the pistachio sauce although a bit expensive. It was 18$ with a cup of tea.
However the staff was really nice & the ambiance was good too.
They even had games & books available!
Good place to study, work or just spend a good time with friends.

Cheesecake was okay, however, a bit bland & bitter without sauce. Also, consider the price. One slice costs $8.99 & any sauce costs $0.99 extra. Paid a total of $17 for one slice & a small pot of tea. Service was quite slow & not a lot of space to sit as people stay hours with their laptops. Also, why does there need to be a BIG flag of Syria in the window?
Absolutely LOVED!! this place. Visiting from outside the city. Great cheese cake not at all too sweet & I had it paired with biscoff topping & it was perfect not at all too sweet & went well together.
The atmosphere was super chill, warm & relaxing. We got the steeped tea to accompany the dessert & it was great.
Would definitely return in future & would recommend to anyone looking for a good relaxing warms dessert location in Montreal.
I enjoy the Saint Sébastien cheesecake I always order it with pistachio cream & chocolate cream, which makes the taste delicious & extraordinary. We also tried their pistachio latte which was delicious & I always like their homeland tea. I like this place & whenever I cry for cheesecake or Saint Sébastien cheesecake I'll go there.
Tried cheesecake with the pistachio cream on top, it was delicious! The cake was fresh, & the coffee & black tea were excellent too.
Definitely coming back to try other toppings next time!
Such a wonderful cafe! Amazing hot drinks including a variety of teas, Syrian coffee, & even Yerba Maté, & their famous cheesecake made honey! & the staff? Oh, the best!!! Don't miss it!

Charming venue & amazing desserts, especially the stuffed dates! Owner & staff are very courteous & friendly, great selection of teas in addition to excellent coffee!
San Sebastian Cafe is an absolute treasure in Montreal! From the cozy, inviting atmosphere to the exceptionally friendly staff, every visit feels special. Their San Sebastian cheesecake is out of this world: creamy, perfectly caramelized, & unforgettable. The coffee & mint tea are equally impressive, rich & full of flavor.

I had a lovely experience.
I tried their San Sebastian cheesecake with pistachio, & it was absolutely delicious, creamy, rich, with just the right touch of sweetness.
I also ordered a chamomile tea, which was fresh & full of natural flavor.

People that run the place are very nice & attentive, The coffee & tea are excellent, with multiple tea options to choose from. The San Sebastian cake is a very delicious , available in more than one flavor. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit!
Today, I visited San Sebastian, a cozy café in downtown Montreal, & had a truly enjoyable experience. They serve an incredibly delicious cheesecake that I thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered green tea, which was beautifully presented in a small kettle along with a double-walled glass mug that kept the tea perfectly hot. Sipping it while savoring the cheesecake was a real treat.
My wife ordered maté & a herb-infused cookie with an exotic, delightful flavor. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the staff were exceptionally polite-always smiling & welcoming. A perfect spot to relax & unwind.
