La nourriture était très bonne, les cafés également. Cependant, de l'avis même de la serveuse, ce n'était pas leur meilleur matin : cafouillage dans les commandes, ingrédients non disponibles, beaucoup d'attente, etc. Je me faisais une joie d'y retourner, là je suis moins pressée disons.

Bouffe bonne & service top, mais on dirait que les plats ont perdu un peu de peps & il manque de quoi à l'ambiance. Un peu déçu, on reviendra cette été sur la magnifique terrace avec notre chien, en espérant que nos attentes seront comblées.

We had a wonderful evening at Rumi Restaurant. I was in the habit of going there very often the past twelve years or so (it was my favourite restaurant in Montreal), but the last two times I was there (over six months ago), I noticed a decline in the quality of the food & ambience. This last time, I was delighted to find the old Rumi! Thank you for offering us a unique culinary experience, together with a taste of a traditional Islamic decorative ambience. Absolutely wonderful! The only negative point I can mention from last night was the music: instead of consistent traditional Islamic/Sufi music, there was a mixture with jazz that I found off-putting. The traditional Islamic/Sufi music is MUCH better & well-suited to the ambience Rumi uniquely offers.
