Restaurant Rumi offers you a culinary experience of the Silk Road that once crossed Central Asia and the Middle East. A route that linked cities, oases and markets... great traditions, formidable kingdoms.
The Silk Road was also the route of spices, generous in fragrance and flavor. We invite you to be inspired by the spirit of the travelers, merchants and pilgrims who, for centuries, exchanged goods, riches and important cultural elements.
A spirit of discovery and openness.
We aim to create a hospitable atmosphere conducive to meaningful encounters. A setting in which to take the time to restore oneself in the sense of regaining strength and meaning.
As far as possible, our cuisine favors local, organic and sustainable agriculture. All the meat we serve is halal.
We give priority to fresh, local produce.

The food, ambiance & service were all AMAZING! Looking forward to the next time.
A beautiful, cozy space with friendly staff & delicious food. Their Dal soup was a true standout, & each of the mezze plates we had were just right. Dessert was decadent & if like mint tea, don't miss theirs.
I went with my daughter who is in the middle of midterms at university . We consider Rumi a go to restaurant & usually just order a bunch of appetizers which can be quite filling . Especially good was the Spanakopita (spinach cheese pie in a flaky pastry) Merguez
& Kebbe . The mint lemonade slush is a fun nonalcoholic drink . Service was prompt
Rumi has been a consistently fine restaurant for years. The food is always very well-prepared, visually & gustatorily gorgeous. The wine list is evolving & features wines imported exclusively as well as an increasing number of organic vintages. Service is always warm & personal.
A essayer, encore & encore. Une belle terrasse est disponible.
La nourriture était excellente. Simple & franchement savoureuse!
First time in Montreal & my friend recommended Rumi. It was awesome..nice people, great service & delicious food. Will definitely be back when next here. Ben
