Overall, reviews describe La Lune as a stylish, cozy rotisserie destination focused on chicken, pintade and canard, where the rotisserie chicken, crispy fries, and a deeply flavorful gravy are repeatedly praised, along with a standout sauce and dessert like carrot cake; the atmosphere is often described as upscale yet welcoming, with chic lighting and a lively bar area, and the service is frequently noted as warm, attentive and knowledgeable, though a few comments mention pacing issues or staff rushing tables during busy nights; many diners highlight generous portions, well executed sides and entrées such as croqu'ailes and fondues, while a few dishes can be saltier or vary in quality, and some opt for the private dining room for celebrations; while price is a consideration for some, the overall value is affirmed by plenty of visitors who say they would return, and the space also earns praise for being both comforting and gastronomic, with some noting the noise level and seating comfort as drawbacks on busy evenings.
We had a fantastic time here! The food, service, & even the background music were all on point.
However, we were quite disappointed by the over thirty-minute wait for our reserved table. It was stiflingly hot near the entrance; the AC just couldn't keep up with both the weather & the kitchen's heat. While we were offered water, there was no apology or update on the wait time. We also had our drink order taken before being seated, leading us to believe they might be complimentary as an apology, which wasn't the case. This misstep certainly impacted our overall impression...

Great atmosphere & great service! The chicken is obviously the star of the show, but don't miss out on the sides & appetizers. Everything we tried was excellent. Even the dessert was a nice change of pace, lots of flavour but not overly sweet. Highly recommended.
Good place for High-end Rotisserie chicken & other innovative dishes.
Just found the stools at the High tables uncomfortable. So we asked to change for table seating.
All good
In a world full of complicated menus & overworked plates, this intimate, upscale restaurant offers something refreshingly rare: simplicity done exceptionally well.
The centerpiece here is the oven-roasted chicken-unadorned, yet unforgettable. No lemon, no herbs, no frills-just perfectly crisped skin & deeply seasoned meat that's rich, savory, & tender to the bone. It's the kind of roast that reminds you how powerful salt, time, & proper technique can be.
The sides follow suit in quiet excellence: crisp roasted potatoes, lightly salted & golden on the outside & buttery root vegetables that melt in your mouth. Everything on the plate feels familiar, but elevated-simple food prepared with serious care.
The space itself is warm & refined-low lighting, soft textures, & a calm, steady hum of conversation. The service is unhurried & attentive, creating the perfect rhythm for relaxed, satisfying dining.
There's no need for tricks or trendy garnishes here. Just quality ingredients, classic techniques, & a respect for the food that shows in every bite.
Verdict: This is comfort food with a touch of class-humble dishes, executed with quiet confidence. If you're looking for an honest meal in an inviting space, you'll find yourself right at home.
I have to say service staff & food were amazing. Management on the other hand needs to figure some things out as the place was not properly air conditioned, we waited 35 minutes+ past our reservation time for a table, & only the single stall main floor washroom was functional on a busy Friday night. You would expect more from a Michelin recommended restaurant. Maybe serve ice water as a first step?
The guinea fowl was full flavour, wish I could substitute the fries though. The oyster spinach dip was good. The baked potato with chanterelles & bacon was the best I've had, & I don't like potatoes. The Louis d'Or fondu melted in your mouth. The chicken sandwich was good, the gravy was great. My Scarlet (basically a Manhattan) was a nice starter cocktail.
Our waitress was fantastic, polite, efficient, & helpful. Wine recommendation was on point. The music choices & the decor were fun. Always love hearing Metronomy.
My partner & I went here for our anniversary. The experience was great - our waiter was very kind & knowledgeable, her eye contact between us was positively notable as well. We ordered the curry deviled eggs, for our taste they were not particularly enjoyable, however, the staff quickly took care of that. The rôtisserie was great. Juicy, well cooked, & flavorful. It's a cute environment, if a bit loud. The hostess was fantastic. As we paid our check, she inquired into where we're from & upon hearing were from out of town, she wrote a list of restaurants & bars that she recommended. Great personal touch. Overall, an upscale rôtisserie experience is something worth trying & this business makes it a great time.
Amazing staff experience, worked very well to make it a seamless experience to make sure nobody waited too long. Rolls were indeed very fantastic & pistachios were a great touch to the terrine. Excellent chicken & coleslaw the way I like it, more vinegary! Fries, gravy, & rotisserie chicken -- a simple dinner always gets the job done. Especially when done this well!
Fantastic experience at La Lune!
I had an incredible meal here-La Lune completely exceeded my expectations. I started with the chicken soup filled with ravioli & vegetables-light, flavorful, & comforting.
The cucumber & lobster salad was fresh, beautifully plated, & bursting with bright herbs & creamy richness. For the main dish, the rotisserie chicken was perfectly cooked with crispy skin, juicy meat, & paired with some of the best fries I've had. The gravy on the side was rich & savory-absolutely delicious.
A special shoutout to Simon, the bartender, who provided exceptional service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, & added a personal touch that really elevated the whole experience.
The ambiance at La Lune is polished but welcoming-a perfect spot whether you're grabbing a solo meal at the bar or dining with friends. I'll definitely be back!
Excellent! On avait hâte d'y aller. Nourriture excellente & personnel attentionné & professionnel. Mini bémol sur le barman en training mais il était super gentil & bien supervisé ;)
