La Lune is widely praised for its comforting yet refined rotisserie, with chicken and pintade that are juicy and tender, skin crisp, and a rich gravy, complemented by great house fries, coleslaw, and an array of shareable starters like croqu'ailes; desserts such as carrot cake and chocolate mousse are frequent favorites. The ambiance is described as warm, stylish, and lively, with a beautiful space that suits dates, groups, and private events in a dedicated room, and the service is often impeccable and attentive, though a few guests note moments of heaviness during peak times, long waits for reservations, and occasional missteps or rushed pacing. The menu's focus on poultry is celebrated and paired with thoughtful sides and a strong wine and cocktail program, while a minority calls for more consistent beverages or better value in certain portions or seasoning on some dishes. Some reviewers question the Michelin reference, while many see it as a neighborhood gem offering a high-end feel, generous portions, and memorable experiences, prompting frequent returns to explore seasonal items, desserts, and the depth of flavors across the menu.
A trendy bright comfortable popular modern rotisserie owned by well known Montreal restaurateurs where the highlight is the sauce & excellent service. Montreal has several rotisseries serving meats that are as good, if not better, but which are less comfortable & decidedly less pricy. Half a chicken, a salad, dessert & a drink will easily set you back $75-80. Worth a try...
Très bon. Bonne frite, bon poulet, bonne sauce !

Chic, dim lights. The fries & their sauce to die for. Yes it's just chicken but it's good chicken . The desserts melt in your mounth. I went with friends we ordered different desserts so we can try. OMG... Even if you just go for dessert... You would love it. I liked the bar area, it's nice. W head a booth. I would definitely go again even if it's just for a dessert.
Chicken was fine, but the weakest dish out of the ones we tried. Could have been better. Appetizers & desserts were amazing. Oeuf mayo better than in Paris. Surprisingly, or maybe not at all (it is chicken after all) if we were to go back, it wouldnt be for the chicken.

The price simply is not justified. Glad to read I am not the only one that feels this way. It's all right to have a profit margin but why the need to abuse customers?
😋🔥 Everything was AMAZING! Seriously, everything at Rotisserie La Luna was so, so delicious 🍗🍖🥗🥔🍰. I can't even pick a favorite because every single bite was PERFECT 💥💫.
The chicken? Juicy & flavorful 🍗❤?. The sides? Incredible 🥗🥔. The desserts? Absolute heaven 🍮🍰.
The vibe is cozy & welcoming 🌿🪑🎶, & the staff were super friendly 👌🤵?♀?.
Came here for my birthday, group of 6, Laurent took great care of us, excellent service. Food was great, atmosphere was lively. They only have one beer on tap from a brewer in Gaspé that was excellent.
I'll be back again.
Loved all the appetizers, all super thoughtful & well done! Even it took so long for the waiter to explain them all, because for some reason they are all different portion sizes that makes no sense & wasn't made clear on the menu. I don't know what the initial intentions are, but it comes across to me as a dark pattern used to try to make certain menu items seem cheaper than they are.
The rotisserie was decent, but I had higher expectations for a place that build its entire menu around it. The fries were amazing, even by Montreal standards! The gravy got so cold & congealed so quickly because it's the winter, & they don't have one of those boats with the candle underneath to keep it warm or something. Highly recommend investing in that! Had to re-ask for gravy multiple times.
