Pretty amazing food. We decided to order multiple main dishes & just share. IMO this is the best. I like restaurants with simple menus. We haven't tried the outdoor terrace since it's winter. Staff was cool af.

This Italian restaurant is one of the best in Montreal. They food is delicious, I loved the foccacia, it's freshly baked as is everything else on the menu. The menu changes every season from what I understood as they are trying to incorporate seasonal dishes, which is a great concept. You'll be impressed by the service as they pay attention to detail & make sure you're having a great experience. Very cozy vibes!!
Overrated & extremely overpriced for the food they serve. I had the ribye, very common, no taste, over cooked.. 96$.. i'm a meat lover & that was not quality meat. The service is ordinary, too many tables for a few waiters so you have to wait. At some point the waitress told us that we can't get a cooler bucket for our white wine bottle because they don't have many. Lol, imagine drinking warm white wine. The atmosphere is nice, has a lot of potential if chef is changed & management as well. I do not recommend & i will not come back.
I truly have only good things to say about this establishment. The service has been perfect each time & I've been on 4 occasions - Kelsey specifically is an amazing waitress. The food is exceptional, filet mignon was insanely good, the tartares delish & the cocktails are great!! Good vibes each time.
Food was good but no worth the price. We were asked to change tables because they had a group but the table we where moved from was given to another couple. Then we had dinner & we felt rushed by the staff. We were given the bill because they had another reservation (we understand) but we still had a full glass of wine & he couldve given us a warning 20 min before instead of rushing us to pay & leave. So we asked if we can finish it at the bar. The server says "sure". We go & are about to sit when the server comes & says we cant sit there bc of another reservation but the bartender said it was fine. We sit & 2 minutes later another person comes to say we need to move bc they have people coming & to move to the next chair. So we literally had to move 3 times during the evening. No warning was given by our server that they needed the table so we can manage to finish our wine (we ordered a bottle). BTW by the time we left the bar chairs were still empty so literally we were moved for nothing. Felt disorganized & rushed . Not worth the hype. Wouldnt recommend
I think my wife & I caught the restaurant on an off night. I went with the burger, & my wife took the pasta dish, which both looked great on Instagram. My burger was overcooked, dry, & tasteless, which included the bun falling apart into pieces right from the first bite. My wife's pasta had no flavour & was very acidic. Unfortunately, she vomited twice from the acidity & spent the night on the couch 🤷♂️. Word of advice: Instead of having the owner check in on his wife's dining experience every 2 mins, he probably should have been keeping a closer eye on the food the kitchen was pumping out (we sat right next to them).
Food was overall salty. I took the shrimp salad which was covered by sauce was ok & the fish to salty my friend took the pasta they said the meat was too salty in the pasta. Service was ok the server was nice but barely came we always had to ask for him to a point we had a friend in the restaurant we had to text him to come to us! At the beginning he took the order of only my friend & didn't bother to ask the rest of the table what we wanted
We had a nice meal at Romies last week. We were in Montreal for vacation & dinner at Romies was one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere was cozy, food was delicious, but what impressed us the most is our waiter Felix. He was not only polite & friendly you can tell he genuinely loved his job & had his customers best interest in mind. He gave us great recommendations from the menu. After finding out it's our first time in Montreal he took time giving us information about local attractions, places worth visiting & where we should go for brunch the next day. Overall we had a great time at Romies. Thank you Felix!
5 star all around. The vibe was immaculate, the food was fantastic & the service was attentive & personal. Been looking for a restaurant like this in Montreal & it definitely exceeded my expectations. The pasta alla zazzona & citrus fish starter were my favourite! The bartenders were knowledgeable & so fun to watch & cocktails were probably some of the best we've experienced ever (& we've travelled all over the world)👌 Do not skip on this restaurant!!!
