Just Yum, in all senses. Food was amazing, perfect medium rare filet mignon, tomato salad of the day was everything I didn't know I wanted, pasta to die for. Chocolate cake 11/10. Terrace had a great vibe, a Montreal gem. A little disappointed they ran out of pie, but all the more reason so go back. I didn't catch our waitress' name but she was amazing. Super cool spot, great deco, great vibes. Don't skip it
Romies has a stunning atmosphere & the drinks are top-notch, but the experience falls flat for the price. Being told upfront that we had a strict two-hour window before the next reservation was off-putting, especially when you're about to drop over $200. The entrees were disappointing; the Brutus salad tasted like it had store-bought dressing, & the beef tartare was bland. We ended up canceling our main dishes. Overall, it's an okay spot if you're just grabbing drinks, but it doesn't live up to the hype or the price tag.

Literally the best dining experience I've ever had in mtl. The service is amazing, the food is unbelievable & the atmosphere is gorgeous. Easily our new favorite place.
Where to start?...excellent question. The restaurant is situated between montreal & the old port. As you're walking to the restaurant, On the outside it looks very ordinary, Nothing special... But wait..... When you get inside that's when it changes.. The interior of the restaurant is very inviting,very comfortable & you figure that's pretty much it... That's where you're wrong . Once you walk in & you look to your right. It's a beautiful open concept that looks like a totally different world. You feel like you're in another world, Beautiful tall trees, Strategically placed lights that go from tree to tree , giving it a great ambience But in reality your in between a few buildings , but they created a concept that you feel like you're in a different country. I have seen this type in Mexico.Let me tell you this is beautiful. Literally you feel like you're having a great meal in another country.... What a wonderful idea. I went to this restaurant not knowing what to expect. I was there celebrating my son's birthday. We were five people. We were greeted by a wonderful young man, by the name of Noah,who would be our host for the evening. He was a wonderful young man who who looked after us the whole evening ( we were there over 2 hours ) He was attentive, courteous & very cool. He did a wonderful job....no ,wrong word. He made us feel he was part of our evening....well done Noah... Food was delicious, dessert phenomenal & the drinks top notch. I will be back!! Thank you for a wonderful night... Recommendations 1-Make reservations 2-Pay for parking across the street It'll save you the headache looking ,21$

WOW WOW WOW!!! 👏🏼 La terrasse est magnifique, super ambiance - la déco est amazing, le service est top-notch (Merci Jeffrey ✨) & que dire de la nourriture... c'est un vrai rêve 🤩 🤤 Si vous cherchez un endroit où tout est parfait, ne cherchez pas plus loin. Vous allez tomber sous le charme de Romies. Un vrai petit coin de paradis!

Absolutely beautiful terasse & restaurant that gives you the impression of being outside of the city almost. Great menu, great service & amazing drinks !! Would recommend for a night out ! Our server was also really nice :)
The food was delicious, the restaurant is beautiful. We found the service extremely rushed & didnt love that the first thing we were told was that we have the table for 2 hrs on a Wed evening when the resto wasn't full. Slow down!
Romies gets a perfect score from me in every aspect without a single hesitation. I've never been to a restaurant that balanced so nicely high standards for food & services & a casual, relaxed atmosphere. I'll be back time & time again, long live Romies!

Went to Romies last night with my fiancé & two of our friends & loved it!! Jeffrey was our server & we took his recommendation to try their speciality salad, which was wonderful & fresh! From the entrees to our main meals, Romies didn't miss one beat. Also, a friend of mine put in my head how most restaurants will forget to fill your water / ask if you want more water & that definitely wasn't the case last night. Super sweet staff & the owner even came up & to tell us bon appetit when she saw we got our main dishes! 10/10 recommend! Can't wait to go back & try more of their dishes!
