Rollys is described as a small, busy spot that serves large, soft cinnamon buns with a creative lineup including classic, raspberry pistachio, Biscoff, Nutella, pear, orange and tiramisu, with many reviewers praising freshness, warmth and bold flavors, while some batches come out dry or undercooked and the original cream cheese icing can be overpowering. The experience is punctuated by long lines, limited seating and occasional delays, and utensils are sometimes missing, though staff are generally nice. Overall the buns are considered tasty and substantial and often worth the price, especially when warmed, making Rollys a noteworthy destination for cinnamon bun lovers despite the bustle and a few misfires.
Rolly's is a super tiny cinnamon bun spot on St. Catherine West. Getting there was honestly a bit of a mission with all the traffic & construction in the area - I almost didn't go because of it.
When I walked in, they only had the raspberry pistachio ready. I waited for the classic, & the Biscoff came out shortly after. They have so many flavours - apple, orange, tiramisu, & more. I genuinely love the creativity behind the concept. From what I saw, everything looked beautiful.
The raspberry pistachio wasn't really my thing - I found the raspberry a bit too sour for my taste. The classic, though, was solid. The bun was soft & pillowy, served warm & fresh. The cream cheese frosting was pretty good too.
Full transparency: I'm not a huge cinnamon bun person in general, so take that into account. But from what I experienced, they're doing fresh, creative, well-made buns.
I don't know if I'll personally be back just because cinnamon buns aren't my go-to, but if you're a fan, this place is definitely worth checking out for the variety alone.
It's ok. I was really excited to get a cinnamon roll but they didn't have the traditional ones left. So I got an apple one & a pecan. They are ok but both taste like cream cheese. Overall it was 19$ for 2 cinnamon rolls & the taste was a bit disappointing for me. But not bad either. & it was Saturday at 6pm so I didn't understand why they only had 2 flavours left… long wait time…

It tasted good but I was surprised that it was served cold. I double checked the opening hours & I actually got there right as it opened so I'm confused how it could be served cold. Also there are no knives at the location so it's kind of messy to eat with just a fork. I'd like to be able to cut it into smaller pieces. I wouldn't really go back, there are other cinnamon roll spots that opened up in town which might be better.
You wait in line to discover that your favorite flavor is finished & no refill
& by the way i came the next day because it is tasty but not a reason to humilate clients by having only one person to fill the cakes & take money .
It is a shame.
Always editing . I have been coming for 3 days & waiting outside in the cold .
& never had the flavor i want , they always sell you the remaining flavors.
To the owner : get a bigger staff & get a bigger production oven & stick flavors that sells more .
Or close your shop if you cant handle that success
Long line for waiting outside staff is very nice but very slow not sure is it a lack of training or tolls to be able to cut the rolls quicker. No utensils available at all. Good experience the rolls are huge
Not worth the hype tbh. Super pricey, same cream cheese frosting on all of them, doesn't serve costumers in order so your favorite flavor might disappear right under your eyes after waiting in line for long. Also doesn't respect the closing & opening hours or even days displayed on their shop.
But in response to the owner : Oh honey you want me to write with 3 different accounts? I definitely will. Instead of accusing me of writing 3 times, maybe you should reconsider how you run your shop & serve the right costumers in order. The other review was only my husband. The rest has nothing to do with me. What a gaslighter!
I waited in line for a super long time to have exactly the biscoff one, there were 2 left when i entered which i was super excited about when it was finally my turn to order. But the staff decided to serve the people behind me who took the same thing because they knew them personally, it was completely unfair, i ended up getting nothing but im putting at least one star because it looks good & they sell biscoff ones lol.
