Dès son arrivée, on a droit au service de voiturier puis, à l’intérieur, au service courtois et attentionné aux quatre coins de sa table. Le menu diversifié met à l’honneur le bœuf nourri au grain, bœuf de première qualité approuvé USDA, vieilli et fraîchement coupé chaque jour, un appétissant assortiment de poissons frais, de fruits de mer et de homard, tous apprêtés à la perfection.
Dans l'ensemble, Rib 'N Reef est perçu comme un steakhouse haut de gamme avec une ambiance chaleureuse et élégante et un salon de cigares dédié, où les steaks sont souvent loués pour leur cuisson parfaite et les fruits de mer, accompagnements et présentations sur table ajoutent à l'expérience, tandis qu'un service attentif et un programme de vins solide sont régulièrement soulignés; toutefois, plusieurs avis soulignent des prix élevés, des incohérences occasionnelles dans la cuisson ou le service, une salle bruyante ou bondée et des problèmes éventuels liés au rapport qualité-prix ou au service de voiturier.
I had the pleasure of dining at Rib N Reef, & it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, & full of that classic, upscale steakhouse charm.
The service was impeccable & the staff were attentive, friendly, & made sure every detail was perfect without being intrusive.
While Rib N Reef is known for its steaks, I have to say I had the greatest Alfredo pasta I've ever tasted. It was rich, creamy, & packed with flavour, every bite was heavenly. It's not often you find a steakhouse that nails pasta like that, but they absolutely did!
If you're looking for an elevated dining experience, whether it's a special occasion or just a night out to indulge, Rib N Reef is the place to be. I can't wait to go back & experience it all over again!

Great food, I liked the seasoning on the tartare, delicious cesar salad & desserts. If you want a good restaurant & nice decor & ambiance & great food, this is the place for you. They deserve a 10/10. However, I do believe the prices are too high for what they offer, there are other good steakhouses with similar options & taste. But keep in mind it is high-end (valet, coat check, personalized experience, etc.) so I understand why some people would pay these prices.
Awesome meal, service & wine list. The steak poivre is fantastic. Old school French style recipe where they prepare the poivre sauce flambe style tableside. Great cut of meat with a nice crust on outside & cooked perfectly on the inside.
I've eaten at top steak houses around the country & this was one of the best steaks I've had in a while. Poivre sauce is 10/10.
Incroyable à chaque soir , l'accueil , service oui je donne 6* …. Pat qui nous parle de vin & nous oriente tjr avec un agencement parfait…. Le service aussi de tous est tous simplement wow … Youssef est le King.

Top tier restaurant! It's a great place for date night, a business meeting or a celebration! Very fast service & an excellent menu with something for everyone!
New in Montreal my GF wanted to try a steakhouse & this place didn't disappoint at all. I think anytime we are in MTL this will be our go to. Their Caesar Salad was prepared in-front of us. Roasted Beef with baked potatoes. Everything hit different & now I can go back to Toronto in peace & with satisfaction.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Rib N Reef, & I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience! This iconic restaurant has been a Montreal staple for decades, & for good reason. From the moment we walked in, we were treated to exceptional service, a warm & inviting atmosphere, & of course, the most mouth-watering dishes that will leave you craving for more. The decor is classic & sophisticated, with a touch of old-school glamour that will transport you back in time. The dimly lit dining room, complete with plush leather booths & crisp white tablecloths, sets the tone for a luxurious & intimate evening out. & the bar area? Absolutely fabulous, with its sleek lines, rich wood accents, & expertly crafted cocktails that will make you feel like a million bucks.
The filet mignon was dry & I had to add 10$ for a bernaise sauce that wasn't that good, the chocolate cake of the dessert tasted like store bought cake not bad but not worth the price & to the exception of one of the servers that say hello & was nice the others didn't even bother saying hello before throwing the menu
