Dès son arrivée, on a droit au service de voiturier puis, à l’intérieur, au service courtois et attentionné aux quatre coins de sa table. Le menu diversifié met à l’honneur le bœuf nourri au grain, bœuf de première qualité approuvé USDA, vieilli et fraîchement coupé chaque jour, un appétissant assortiment de poissons frais, de fruits de mer et de homard, tous apprêtés à la perfection.
Rib 'N Reef est perçu comme une expérience haut de gamme mêlant cadre élégant et lounge pour cigares, avec un service largement salué et une ambiance sophistiquée. The valet removes a good star right from the get go . Takes my car floors it down the sidewalk spins the tires & scrapes the bottom . I mentioned it nicely the other guy. He did the trick where you act like you don't understand untill I repeated 4 times . Tell your friend not to floor my car & spin the tires , it's not very respectful. They also didn't lock my friend's car . Which is annoying.
Food was good . I just feel like I cant tell you that the meat is better than gibbies, maybe , I'd say less tender even . & over there you do get sides & are even less cheap on the table complementary Pickel & coleslaw, bread etc... . But good nonetheless , I knew I was gonna get a salty bill , & that's ok.
Although the forced 20% tip straight up criminal , not a fan at all.
Service was just ok. Speciallly at the beginning since it took 25 mins to get our drinks .
Oh & getting back the car. The valet who acted like he didn't understand why I was annoyed with his friend flooring my car , stayed & did the , I'm waiting for a tip gesture for like 3 mins . Which I still did tip , not sure why . Especially since , why the hell was shifter super grocely wet when I came in .
Anyway I've been to queue cheval back In the days , Moishes , & felt like I was paying for a good luxurious experience. Not the case here.
I feel like if you read this. You'll see my 3* are generous. & make a lot of sense. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
This place is a classic for a reason. Only strange part is the parking... if it's your first time & you don't want to valet, it's hard to figure out where to park.
The restaurant & cigar lounge both are nice. The food has always been great. Grilled octopus, calamari & rack of lamb are my favorite. You can bring your own cigar & the drinks in the cigar lounges are fantastic. Valet parking is available.
The moment you pull in & valet receives you, you know you are at the right place! The staff is elegant yet humble enough to make you feel like family. The atmosphere is cozy, classy, intimate & beautiful. The menu misses absolutely nothing! & if you have a request, rest assured, they will deliver! The drinks are crisp & delicious. All together, an absolute experience for all your senses! If you want to impress your date, this place is it! Can't wait to go back!
Ps- Our waiter was as amazing as the food! We laughed, shared stories & felt the genuine love.
Mandatory-valet, so if you do not like that, don't go. Yet I'd recommend 😁
Date night. My first time over on the east coast & my bf had to take me to this steakhouse. & they did not disappoint. I ordered filet mignonette, with lobster tail, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli & asparagus for our sides. I usually order medium rare, but ordered medium & it was melt in my mouth perfection!
The bread they bring for the table, came with two big pickles (I love pickles) & fresh coleslaw. We also ordered fresh oysters & escargot! Everything about this place was amazing! I'd obviously go back when I'm here again & for sure recommend!!
Rib'n Reef is the perfect spot for indulgence! 🥩🦞 The combination of top-notch steaks & fresh seafood is exquisite. The chic atmosphere, complete with a cigar lounge & valet service, adds a touch of luxury that keeps us coming back. A truly exceptional dining experience! ✨🍷

Great food, I liked the seasoning on the tartare, delicious cesar salad & desserts. If you want a good restaurant & nice decor & ambiance & great food, this is the place for you. They deserve a 10/10. However, I do believe the prices are too high for what they offer, there are other good steakhouses with similar options & taste. But keep in mind it is high-end (valet, coat check, personalized experience, etc.) so I understand why some people would pay these prices.
Ce restaurant demeure parmi les meilleurs steakhouse, le service est soignée & noble, les serveurs & les valets sont discret tout en etant présent.Idéal pour faire toute occasion ce restaurant s'adapte aussi bien a la famille qu'au souper entre collegue ou pour la fête de ca bien aimée. L'établissement pratique la cuisine sur les chariots contribuant autant a la gourmandise qu'a une ambiance réjouissante.La cuisine offre une large gamme de choix maitrisés & donc on voudra refaire & refaire l'expérience. Je le conseil vivement a tous mes amis & proche .
Very overpriced. $46 for 2 crab cakes. $21 for 1 piece of shrimp. Ordered steak. Was very bland tasting. So i had to put sauces on it to digest. Would not recommend at all. I have had better steaks at fairly priced restaurants with more flavors. They have valet parking, service was good, environment was nice. I had the best pina colada ever here. Crab cakes & fries were also good. But for the price i really expected more. Flavor of steak really needs an improvement.

If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place. They prepare the salad & the crepes in front of you. The food is phenomenal & the wine cellar very impressive. From the valet parking & all the staff, everyone is very professional.
Very laidback steak house, good service, good consistent food. I've been going there for 15 years. The drinks are also really good drink & they have a good wine list. Why not fully 5 stars ? The valet parking... the restaurant is literally in a parking lot, just drop it or make them less agressive. I don't like people parking my cars & it's less convenient for me when I come with my kids. Every time it's a story of telling them I don't want valet ... I'm already in the parking I can get between 2 lines.
First off let me say that the restaurant is beautiful. Front desk staff, coat check & valet service workers were such a pleasure. Unfortunately service from the waiter was not up to par, my fiancé & I felt that we got the cold shoulder. Food took 50 minutes to arrive & the waiter did not come to check up on us once. Food was good but cold. It was a busy night so maybe we'll give it another shot one day.

Here is why you come here. - impeccable service with above server to customer ratio & attention to detail. - the highest quality ingredients - the highest quality standard in a every aspect of the business - top quality Dry & wet aged USDA prime beef on premise & antibiotic free & corn fed - decades (63 years) of consistent success - classic dishes of past like made fresh in front of you such as Caesar Salad, steak au poivre sauce flambe in front of you, crêpes Suzette & cherries jubilee made in front of you & flambé fun, home made (the best in the city ) Apple pie with hand made small batch ice cream from "Glacier Bilboquet" & so so much more - a wine list any world class sommelier would be jealous of - table set up with super fresh breads of all types & bread sticks (unlimited) on the table, crunchy crisp kosher dill pickles, homemade Cole slaw, creamy cottage cheese all plentiful & unlimited. But the real experience is that it's all old school from the attire of the staff to the elegant rich wood interior & decor, to the ambient soft music in the background, to the respectful & happy staff who are amazingly attentive to make certain your experience is nothing short of exceptional. The decades seasoned owner Peter has stuck to his principals like a religion & like a religion his patrons have remained loyal in return. There is no other steak place in the city that comes close as its many, many "cuts" above the rest on numerous levels. Must try's: - Rib steak ordered Chicago (charred on the outside) - Monte carlo potatoe with bacon - Caesar or wedge salad - order as a side, their peppercorn sauce for dipping & drizzling - thigh the steak need not any accoutrements to make it taste good, it's just the peppercorn sauce is wicked homemade delicious & a real treat to experience as it's also made in front of you - shrimp cocktail - apple pie a la mode for sure!!! - red wine, they have many & at practically every price point for good quality wines but my fav red is J. Lohr a Californian Cabernet Sauvignon you bc any go wrong. You can park yourself but they also have valet as well as you can take your coat to your table but they also have the classic coat check when you enter.
Impeccable food & service but what snobs. We arrived to an empty parking lot, so I parked my car in front. They insisted on taking my keys because they have valet parking?! When we left, they had the nerve to move my car in the back of the parking lot. Only the luxury cars were now parked in front. What snobs! Just because of that, I will not be going back!
