Cette expérience en grilladerie est incomparable… Le restaurant Rib’n Reef, qui peut se vanter de la gloire de ses 50 fructueuses années d’existence, apporte maintenant la touche de modernisme et de flamboiement de la véritable restauration de grand luxe.
Dès son arrivée, on a droit au service de voiturier puis, à l’intérieur, au service courtois et attentionné aux quatre coins de sa table. Le menu diversifié met à l’honneur le bœuf nourri au grain, bœuf de première qualité approuvé USDA, vieilli et fraîchement coupé chaque jour, un appétissant assortiment de poissons frais, de fruits de mer et de homard, tous apprêtés à la perfection.
Dans l'ensemble, Rib 'N Reef est perçu comme un steakhouse haut de gamme avec une ambiance chaleureuse et élégante et un salon de cigares dédié, où les steaks sont souvent loués pour leur cuisson parfaite et les fruits de mer, accompagnements et présentations sur table ajoutent à l'expérience, tandis qu'un service attentif et un programme de vins solide sont régulièrement soulignés; toutefois, plusieurs avis soulignent des prix élevés, des incohérences occasionnelles dans la cuisson ou le service, une salle bruyante ou bondée et des problèmes éventuels liés au rapport qualité-prix ou au service de voiturier.
Superb experience, the service & food was A1. Quite expensive but the quality of the meat & the overall experience was worth it. About 800$ for 5 people with 2 wine bottles. Note to admin : the link on the website button of the Google business page is broken.

Restaurant: 6/10, cigar lounge 8/10 My review is focused on the restaurant. Ordered the Caesar salad for the table (10/10 delicious) & the sirloin surf & turf with lobster tail. For the prices that they are charging, they really should have nailed the cook temp of both the steak & the lobster tail. My steak was overdone & under seasoned, while the lobster tail was quite good. Bathrooms are extremely cramped. Overall, not worth the money. This is like a fancy restaurant for people that don't know what a good restaurant is.
Everything you could ask for & more! My husband & I went back to classic upscale Montreal steakhouse, Rib N Reef, for our wedding anniversary. He had the French Onion Soup Gratiné & I had the Lobster Bisque with chunks of lobster. Both were absolutely delicious. We both ordered the slow roasted Signature Roast Beef au jus with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The roast beef was served a little under medium-rare as requested, & the best we've eaten. The mash potatoes were creamy & mouth-watering. We had a comfortable semi-circular booth all to ourselves from which to enjoy the lively ambiance.The staff was friendly & attentive, & the service polished. We indulged in some superb wine to celebrate the occasion. Rib N Reef's award-winning wine list, expertly curated by incomparable Manager-Sommelier & Montreal treasure, Patrik Schmidt, has something for everyone. By the way, Patrik Schmidt is a blast to talk'fine wine' with! Thank you to Rib N Reef & staff for an unforgettable evening! & a huge thank you to Patrik Schmidt! Can't wait to go back! Nourriture excellente Ambiance calme, j aime! Service correct Je suis allée à la salle de bain, mon conjoint y est allé 1 minute après moi 3 minutes après nous recevions un appel pour vérifier où nous étions en pensant que nous sommes parti sans payer. Euhhhh nonnn .... on est à la toilette. Insultant! surtout lorsqu'ils nous voient sortir des salles & revenir à la table ...Très rapide pour sauter aux conclusions, sans vérifier. Malheureusement, cet événement fait que nous n y retournerons pas.

If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place. They prepare the salad & the crepes in front of you. The food is phenomenal & the wine cellar very impressive. From the valet parking & all the staff, everyone is very professional.
side table ceasar salads & cherries jubilee was an experience we all enjoyed. The steak was perfect & so was the lobster. Everything was absolutely lovely

Danny & Matthew were exceptional - they exceeded every expectation we had in regards to service. Rib N Reef doesn't offer a fresh squeezed margarita, I asked Matthew for one & he made it happen. It was delicious & he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Danny had a great intuition for service making you feel like you were the only ones in the restaurant. I would highly recommend asking for them during your next visit. Service like this is VERY HARD to come by so when you do experience this type of service it is memorable
Went for a dinner, which was handled great by our waiter Patrick, was phenomenal. Went for a cigar upstairs & was by far the best lounge I ever been to anywhere. Andy was a true gentleman & took his time with our group & was very knowledgeable in his field. Over all I'll be there all the time
Very laidback steak house, good service, good consistent food. I've been going there for 15 years. The drinks are also really good drink & they have a good wine list. Why not fully 5 stars ? The valet parking... the restaurant is literally in a parking lot, just drop it or make them less agressive. I don't like people parking my cars & it's less convenient for me when I come with my kids. Every time it's a story of telling them I don't want valet ... I'm already in the parking I can get between 2 lines.

Went for a birthday. Bread & pickles were served & never refilled. We waited for our food a long time & many mistakes were made... when the meat came in, all of them were cold. When told about the cold meat, they reheated the same piece & ruined the requested doneness of the meat... Quite frankly, for that price point, we were expecting better service & food quality. I had the salmon tartare which was decent. I also had the raw oysters which were not even fresh! Somehow the coleslaw tasted like hay I can easily say I've had better elsewhere in mtl for way more affordable prices...
Je vais souper 2 fois par annees dans ce beau restaurant, le.service magnifique, personnels avec bcp d'expérience, du vrais service, avec des personnes experimentee sont oublié la.cuisine , les repas délicieux, a la hauteur de nos attente, preparer avec manière exceptionnelle, je recommande .
